I don't know where this summer is supposed to be. Not started over here in the east mids.
Hoodie came back out a few weeks ago after the two warm days we had. In fact, a few days I've been cold.

Obviously it will be cold since I spent £100 on a fan.

This has to be one of the coldest summers.

I can't believe I'm still wearing my leggings and a thick jumper.

I want to be wearing next to nothing and melting, to make up for the approaching and depressing winter!! Lol!

We had an absolutely amazing may/June.

July is looking like a washout.

Notice this a lot recently. But it's usually August that's poop. Not July.

Hope August and September are lush.

Why am I even even in the UK? We get so little good weather! Probably 3 months of the year with another 2 "OK"

At least you had that. We had about a week mid June and that's it. Mid teens highs, endless cloud, windy and rain. That sums up my summer.

I'll be able to take a summer break to Iceland for better weather if this keeps going.

Long may it continue loving it I would say this is perfect its not cold and not hot either take it anyday over struggling to keep myself cool currently 22c inside windows fully open and have the fan on , such a nice change from few weeks ago when we had hot spell was so uncomfortable not nice in the city and dont get me started about trying to sleep

Forecast is saying its 16c outside that doesnt seem right as I think thats still little too warm

Yeah with many friends and family in Suffolk and Lincolnshire I was aware of how miserable it was over there.

June was crazy, even though it eased for a few days. I was home for a lot last June and still didn’t use as much air con as we did this year, this year being used almost exclusively overnight.

I keep going out in shorts/t shirt, not having looked at the forecast and immediately regret it.

I'm liking this cool'ish July up to now, June was too hot for me personally. Just hope we don't have days that break highest temp records like last year.

I agree but the way some people talk about the extremeness of the weather, how long have we got before 50 in the UK is a thing, who's actually right are these people who say we are at the beginning of such extreme weather patterns coming in the near future, are they exaggerating things or is there some truth in it and if so why the hell are we seemingly doing zilch about it and still have all these things going on that are further polluting the planet just because it makes rich people richer.
