It's too hot :(

June this year was the warmest on record in the UK, with all 4 countries also recording their warmest June on record. However people moaning about temperatures need to look at the average highs in this country, 30c isn't normal and never has been.

Considering many from the North East right down to the South East had cold winds off the North Sea, and cloudy days. It wasn't until mid/late June we actually had some decent Weather. But that will never fit well with the Climate Change agenda, so they fiddle the stats as usual

So you think climate change isn't real, and just "an agenda"? Moron.

This June was the highest mean temperature on record. Do you know what a mean is? And just because one coast has a cooling effect thanks to the winds at that time, it doesn't account for the rest of the country, does it? Jesus Christ.
That’s personal abuse. You can’t call people a moron on here.

i think it's being pushed wrongly ... https://jonova.s3.amazonaws.com/graphs/lappi/gisp-last-10000-new.png .. it may be warm for records .. but no where near what it was ..

Did I personally Insult you by calling you a Moron? NO.

If you want to throw a paddy and start the insults because god forbid someone doesn't follow the media on mass, I can do so much worse with words on a forum but I follow the rules which obviously you don't!

I think the issue is that there are all sorts of fudge factors used to try and account for things like increasing urban heat island effects, declining foliage levels and the like.

Even the record hot day last year is dubious as it occurred at a weather station adjacent to an RAF runway whilst three Typhoons were apparently landing.

Agreed!

Not just that, but they go on and on and on about Global Warming, Climate Change, ect. But perfectly happy to pave the countryside in concrete, destroy forests, and so much more!

Been torrential rain here pretty steadily from about 11:30am or so onwards despite the forecast being light rain showers aside from thundery showers for a patch in the afternoon. Absolutely hammering it down currently.

Hopefully clears up later in the week as I've some jobs I want to do outside.

Its hottest may/June by far since I've lived in Wales. Crazy temps and scary lack of rain!

It was in the West, in the East it was like Winter without the snow :p - Even had the heating on at times

Humidity didn't really kick in until mid June, heat late June and then it was gone.. Blink and you'll miss it

Yeah the weather was basically flipped. North and west were much hotter than normal and south east was much colder!

Just how I like it!

I love the Hot Weather, just not the Humidity that goes with it!

When I went to Lincolnshire for weekend I couldn't believe the humidity difference to here. It felt horrid.

Same temperature but the closeness of the air... I had forgotten what it was like!
