It's too hot :(

The only trouble with air conditioning is it pumps heat to the outside therefore increasing the problem of global warming, passive cooling is a much better option but very few house are actually designed with that in mind

Doesn't help that the dew point is at 15C or above, going to hit 18C tomorrow - that's really going to make it feel horribly warm and humid tomorrow :( it feels humid enough now.

Because I don't wanna waste money on it and electric isn't free

Don't see the point when most of the year is cooler anyway
But... this is one of the coolest summers (July and Aug so far) we've had in a long time and you're struggling to deal with it. I wouldn't say it's a waste of money.
You do realise you're in the "too hot" thread, right? :p
Yes, we really should only use it when it is actually 'too hot' :p

It moves the thermal energy from inside the building to outside. That’s not going cause global warming. However the emissions from the electricity used to cause this will.

Nothing like last summer so fan is enough I ain't expecting it to last long :)

When the time comes if it starts lasting longer I might rethink

Is he really struggling though or is he a bit of a drama Queen?

I wonder what response I would get in the 'its too cold' thread if I moaned about it being too cold in my house, but that I didn't want to waste money on heating?
