It's too hot :(

Opposite for me, this weather in the UK causes my mental health to go down and energy levels to plummet like a rock.
I appreciate that’s your situation, but it’s give and take isn’t it. Why should any of us feel good all year round while others are suffering all year round?

Your time to feel better will come soon enough and it will last a lot longer than us sun lovers

Depending on the humidity which for me doesn't take much makes me more irritable trouble sleeping doesn't help adds to lower energy levels

Not wanting to do physical activities also eating food isn't as pleasurable, food that warms you up

But as Rob says it only lasts short period of time most of the time it's cooler, if it was much longer I'd probably look to move to cooler climate ;)

Forecast showing it drops back to 18c next Friday I'll take it

Feels very hot in the car, it's tea break.(Padstow ) looking over to the beaches in Rock ect and wishing I was there, ah well 2.5 hrs to go

About 24°C in the living room, the wife's sitting there with a thin blanket around her arms. And I have to live with her, so glad she's gone through the hot sweats. That was a nightmare

I'm sure it's lovely outside :) Unfortunately the office here doesn't have air con, except the meeting room & other end of the building. Plus being in a wood framed converted building, in the roof space means it's warm, with little air flow :(

Retire, I've been sat in the garden sipping ice cold drinks.

Despite my protestations that it's too hot, I've had a think and it's mostly because there's no proper escape from the heat when I'm "done for the day". It's already down to 19ºC outside but the study I'm in now is just over 22ºC and I haven't even started gaming yet. Likewise, our master bedroom is currently 22ºC even with the windows open (and the blinds and windows have been shut all day to stop the heat getting in in the first place).

It is very nice outside when you can just chill in the garden or whatever and it's 22-24ºC. What's not nice, is when it's that temperature inside too, and there's no proper way to dissipate that heat, especially with the humidity levels we have in the UK. It makes sleep very uncomfortable, practically impossible to game because the PC kicks out too much heat thus making the rest of the house even hotter, running the oven to cook some food also kicks all that heat into the house, and even sometimes just sitting on the couch watching a film is too uncomfortable - that is what I don't like about the hot weather. This does make the case for fitting a proper split A/C system very compelling, but for us to get a 3-unit split would cost us well over £4k, and then add on the energy costs and ongoing maintenance. I know they'll be useful for the entirety of the year too in that we can run them in dehumidify mode when drying clothes etc., but that's still a lot of money to fork out, especially when it's easier to just moan on this thread that it's too hot :D
