It's too hot :(

Last two days "feels like" has shot up alongside an actual increase in temps.

Still at least 5C below the average for my area though, room temp currently 25.5C when typically at about 32C this time of year.

Get a portable Aircon for your gaming room
I have. It's fudging loud and then when you turn it off the rest of the house just heats the room back up again. Same deal if we leave it running in the bedroom during the day, as soon as you turn it off to try and sleep, the rest of the house just warms the room up again.

Got a bit muggy already this morning :( looks like being a bit mixed today sunny and a bit warmer than late but also at times probably close feeling :(

The trouble with this country is our weather is maritime so we are governed by the Gulf Stream which keeps us slightly warmer than the same latitude East and west. This is why we are never prepared for the type of weather seen elsewhere. We don't get the snow that Europe gets as ours falls on relatively warm ground and is wetter compared to the dry powdery snow which settles on frozen ground. We don't have the excessive heat that Europe gets either so when we get it again we can't cope

Is anyone the proud owner of a Meaco 1056 fan?

they've got a huge pile of them in costco for under 70 quid which seems cheap in comparison to what they've been - are they worth it?

Opposite for me, this weather in the UK causes my mental health to go down and energy levels to plummet like a rock.

Yeah agree, my mental health is defo worse when its hot cause I know that climate change is getting so serious now so when I see heatwaves all the time, fair enough this year they have been mainly abroad but still happening to the planet and the oceans temperature rising all the time I know its consequences for the future looks so grim, so don't see anything to be happy about to be honest. Fearing of what the future looks like is one of my biggest mental health concerns tough and hoping it won't be true and we'll wake up and sort it, who knows, doesn't look like many really think its a thing to be at all concerned.

I think your problems run deeper than the weather. You might need a psychologist.
