It's too hot :(

Roll on Monday and Rocket out of Manchester Airport to the heavenly Aegean. Get some decent weather for a week. Like Bliss above i cant cope with another 8 months of this grim weather but even colder.
Heavy showers today so riding mtb was not a enjoyable experience.
Possibly the worst summer apart from 2012 when we had flooding in Darwen. 2016 was tosh as was 2017.

After almost endless sun from April until July, a cooler summer has been perfect for me. August hasn't been too bad though, plenty of sunnier days here. At least nice weather from now on won't be stupidly hot.

Yep, one of the better summers for me too. It's a shame it can't be like this every year. I like the sun (though we do need rain too), it's just the heat and humidity that kills me.

I am the last person in the world to location brag but another early start and there's a big blue patch coming,, the surf is poor bit tbh looks usable and I fancy a plunge in the Atlantic after getting my step count in

A little more sun would have been nice, but it’s been great to not overheat when going outside, not having to suncream as much and haven’t needed to water the garden which has recovered well from a hard winter. Its also saved on air con use.
Some of the hot June days were horrible.

Tbh I do the suncream thing even when it's cloudy, I am quite tanned, (think wham but better looking) but like to protect my youthful looks (semi serious)
Edit/.I find around the eyes tricky and a lot of cream irritates my eyes, need a zinc stick I think

Yeah we should be grateful we didn't in the UK get the awful extreme heat some places got, nothing nice about 35+, well for me there isn't. its been bits of sun and quite a bit of rain too in July which has been great for crops and certain plants but we had lots of sun in May, June and August to balance it out and not crazy hot for too long.

I don't really look at it as now 8 months of winter cause it isn't really that bad, 4 months at best, although who knows with it this year as they predict it will be very cold, we'll have to wait and see I guess. I'm just going to appreciate the weather like it is now as its more average late august temps and much more pleasant to get things done and get a decent kip without using heating inside.
