Coming back from Tenerife tomorrow, I was actually hoping for a let up in heat and humidity but it seems the UK is somewhat matching the heat here 28/29deg high 23/24 low.

Stafford hit 28C today and my weather app says that 25-28C will last into the weekend, so it will be a week's heatwave in a September month. Not best pleased but at least it gets dark shortly after 8PM now which makes the nights a bit cooler.

The downside of the earlier sunset is needing lights on, which is a bad combination with open windows. We’ve had a wicked invasion of moths and daddy long legs!
