There’s bad news for Freeview watchers this week – and the weather is to blame again: Freeview has issued a warning that a surge in atmospheric pressure could lead to significant service disruptions in the coming days.
If you rely on Freeview for your television and radio needs, you might experience a loss of channels or even a complete loss of reception, and many households across the UK could be affected.
For those who’ve been following the pattern, this isn’t the first time we’ve faced such interruptions. Similar disruptions have occurred multiple times over the summer.
According to Freeview’s latest announcement, the warning period for this current episode spans from today, September 4, through to Friday, September 8.

The downside of the earlier sunset is needing lights on, which is a bad combination with open windows. We’ve had a wicked invasion of moths and daddy long legs!Stafford hit 28C today and my weather app says that 25-28C will last into the weekend, so it will be a week's heatwave in a September month. Not best pleased but at least it gets dark shortly after 8PM now which makes the nights a bit cooler.
