It's too hot :(

It normally is for me but sometimes the small wins like the fairer sex makes it worthwhile.

I'm happy with the beach for that.
On Monday I got a birthday treat. Was walking back and a rather hot girl decided to shield the beach from her nudity, but was facing my direction. I'm ashamed to say, I had a peak! :D

Same in South Wales, only washed and waxed the car 3 days ago, had to give it another quick wash

27.7c at 80% humidity, absolutely ridiculous, 5 mins washing the car and I'm sweating like I've done a 10 mile run.

Loads on the car today (also in S Wales)

Friend's son goes to an academy. They aren't allowed to take off their blazers! Only allowed during the summer term (Easter - summer hols). Yet the teachers are wearing short sleeve tops!

This is bloody stupid. Surely the academy can make an exception to this week or whenever the heat lasts for. Students will be fainting and suffering from heat stroke etc.

Ridiculous.
Wearing a blazer in this weather? I'd pity anyone that has to sit next to me. Puddles of sweat!

What’s the channel please, sounds good
Theres a few that I watch stuff from my childhood on, but this is a corker https://youtube.com/@AndyPearman?si=eR_Y0gxBBZokG7rm

Got full episodes of Swap Shop, Take Hart, Johnny Balls Think of a Number, Tiswas, Cheggers Plays Pop, Crackerjack, Its a Knockout etc.

Theres another couple of channels I watch too for other tv shows from back then, things like Hill Street Blues, Moonlighting, Cagney and Lacey etc. Just love the stuff I grew up with, its really interesting to see how people have changed even in just my lifetime, particular interesting are shows which feature lots of members of the public, like Swap Shop. Even small things like how the kids are noticeably uncomfortable and shy when the camera is pointed at them, whereas today, with everyone having a mobile phone with a camera on and social media etc, kids are entirely comfortable on camera, its commonplace for them now.

Yeah that's bloody madness, surely you bend the rules in spring summer you can bend them again for this heatwave.
Some stories I have found online about pupils being forced to wear blazers when its hot

Children can't regulate their temperature as well as adults. If a child falls very ill or dies due to their school's stupid rules of being forced to wear blazers - then the schools will be in deep ****.

If you are doing any food shopping next few days, put your chilled/frozen items in your car, not in the boot as have no idea what the temp will be like in your carboot.

I like seeing the gangs of yoots where each one of them thinks its a different season. One in shorts and a wife beater and another in a bomber jacket and hat.
There's a bloke that shops at my work. He always wears the same clothes regardless of weather - hoodie with hood up, beanie, thick jeans and thick gloves. Guessing he's mid 50s. Unless he has medical issues with feeling cold all the time, he may have something to hide like embarrassing tattoos, skin issues or, like a former colleague, went through a phase of cutting themselves with a razor blade.

Sounds like he is the complete opposite of me, I feel boiling hot, all the time. So much so, that each winter when we go to Canada I dont wear a coat out when pootling round town. Even in minus 30-40, just a long sleeved fleece shirt because I just get too hot with a coat on. My family refers to me as "he burns hot inside". I dont know, maybe I'm Johnny Storm incarnate...tried saying Flame On but sadly nothing happens :)

Mosquitos can't breed in running or salt water.

It's standing water in old tyres, sagging gutters, water butts that they use.

They also don't fly that far from the water source as they are such weak flyers. So you can control a local population pretty well if everyone in a 500m radius is careful.

Difference is in rain my clothes get wet, in heat wave my skin gets wet as sweat is from within. :)
I'm having to change t-shirt everyday it just reeks by the end of the day

Dust starting to build up on the cars now :( wasn't too bad this morning but checking now there is a fair bit.

Last time this happened water/anything water based seemed to just set it like concrete and I had to resort to Showroom Shine to actually clean up the cars.
