It's too hot :(

Went to bed at midnight, it was 29.2c in the house then. Woke up at 6am and still 26c. Today's going to be lovely/brutal depending on your point of view...
Seems to be coming to the end now though :(

19c 96% humidity outside this morning
Indoors 25c 66%

Slept great though AC on got it down from 29c to 23c turned it off around 10pm and it rise to 25c and stayed there.
I'm happy with the heat but I wish we could get a breeze to be able to flush this hot air out of the house at night.

It's going to be a hot one, like 7 inches from the midday sun
Mist burnt off quickly

Friday was absolutely vile here - hot but cloud cover and clammy - just the walk from my nice air conditioned car to the staff room at work was enough to make your skin/clothes sticky :( no air movement at all.

I had to go into the office yesterday so 20 minutes of tube and then a day of slightly smelly tshirt

Begrudgingly put on my polyester uniform. A sweat magnet.

It amazes me how some colleagues wear their fleeces zipped up in this weather - even leaving work!. A previous manager found an unpadded gilet for me. As still need pockets for inhaler, pen, handset, spare printer roll for code checking etc.

Stop worrying about what literally everyone else is doing. You'll be much happier.

Don't you work in a supermarket? Just go meander around the fridges :p

It hit 47c at once point in the kitchen yesterday, was unpleasant. Not the hottest air temp I've seen but close.
The thing is because I’m on my feet, doing at least 18k steps, walking from different temp areas plus outside if need any new car park posters up. Then the hot air coming from the lifts opening from car park below- it’s awfully hot down there makes the store warmer

To quote Eminem, word for word:

‘My balls are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. There’s vomit on my sweater already, mum’s spaghetti. Sod this damn weather.’

Ok, I may have changed it a little. Please, make it stop! :(

The people in the house opposite amuse me. They had their windows open first thing this morning. As soon as the sun came up they closed every single one, presumably to “keep the heat out”. My dads parents used to do the same
