It's too hot :(

Think I would be screwed mentally if this lasted longer period of time

Eating isn't as fun, lack of sleep , very low energy levels throughout the day
I was thinking about that too.

I'll probably get aircon next year, but even with that, who wants to live somewhere they have to stay inside.
So then I'd be thinking about relocating if temps really do increase as the climate folks say.

The only reason we can think like this is because we have weather forecasting. Imagine if we didn't. Probably would have migrated north for the summer already.

Yeah really don't know how people in countries were 30c is seen as a cold day manage, its so exhausting to do any tasks, I've many jobs to do around the house and garden been putting off for when summer was over about to start in September and then this. Tomorrow and Monday look equally as warm now and much warmer than they said, still hoping Tuesday is the start of a normal or slightly higher than average I'll take.

Same, already started having a little sleep in the afternoon so I don't feel the 'pressure' to sleep overnight and then have a later sleep from the early hours of the morning when things (hopefully) cool off.

Our problem in the UK is buildings aren't designed for the hotter weather. If we knew it would be like this often we'd have smaller windows, shutters, AC, pay more attention to the directions buildings face, etc.

I went out and got an industrial fan (18") from Screwfix first thing this morning, and it's in my computer room blasting all the air out the door. Sounds like a lawnmower running right next to me, but it makes the room bearable at least. And yes, I know "fans actually make the room hotter" blah blah.

It feels like i am being really lazy sitting here just killing time with YouTube and not doing anything productive, since if i so much as walk upstairs i start to sweat Lol

Humidity is nuts, I didn't sweat much when I went to Egypt with those really high temps during the June/July time, but just stepping outside for only 5mins literally only walked 30ft and I'm sweating pints.

High temperatures in the UK absolutely suck.

26c and 75% humidity so it feels horrible.

Luckily inside is about 52%, I have a couple of hygrometers at home, it dropped a lot in the last couple of hours.

How’s everyone’s appetite in this weather?

I lose a lot of my appetite in very hot weather. I live off picky bits and cool sandwiches for a few days until it passes
It depends on if I have been working. Wednesday I was starving. Probably because I had breakfast at 5:45am and lunch just before 12.

Thursday- nah.

I’ve already said, I don’t like 30 degrees temps, I prefer about 24-25 and sunny. This summer we’ve been around a crappy cloudy 18-21 most of the time.

Im not suffering with the heat like some on here, but I do find it affects my appetite

I eat less but more Often.
