It's too hot :(

Is it going to be another one of those days where I am the only one on OCUK who doesnt get a storm. :(

These storms are supposed to be heading a cold front, so not a good sign people are not reporting a cooldown after it.

With it getting lighter now there defenitly is dark low clouds overhead, but no rain, wind or thunder.

I've had a little rain here, but no storm. Temperature has not dropped.

It was 27 degrees in the house at 5AM. With all the doors and windows open, it's dropped to 24 degrees.

Not sure what the temperature will be today. The weather forecast measures it in an open field, which doesn't really apply to real life.
 
I don't think I've ever before experienced profuse sweating from the inside of my elbows. Until today.

Another night with barely any sleep. Caught maybe half an hour before I was disturbed by a vomiting cat (normally I would have slept through this event...). Which set me up nicely for another day of this hellish, freakish weather. Yay.
 
Banging headache all night and very little sleep, as much as I love hot weather I think I'm ready for a break now. Bit of rain this morning which cooled things down for a couple of minutes but the temps ramping back up now.
 
Decent enough nights sleep with the Meaco 1056 circulator running at Speed 9.

Sod all breeze on Saturday made my flat hit 28c in the living room (tv off) and about 25c in the bedroom. In the end I spent of yesterday in the latter just reading as it is way to hot to run the TV.

Today I've got my annoying bro-in-law down with his amazing missus so we're off to some Asian festival nearby. It's going to be hot for sure! Seriously can't wait for the cooler weather from Monday onwards.
 
I didn't think it was too hot when I went to bed, but woke just after 12 and decided it was time to wheel the air con through to the bedroom. Slept straight through then. When I woke and walked into the living room, the heat was really apparent.
 
Slept pretty well although bedding was wet through so thats gone in the wash pillow stuck to my face. 25 celcius bedroom this morning.
Thunderstorms from 1400 till early hours monday morning. Then cools down.
So long heatwave see you in 2024 and in Greece next year.
