It's too hot :(

Going out for a hilly cycle ride for ~4.5 hours having set off just after 0900, with an average temp of 82F and max of 91F according to the GPS computer, is a really bad idea even taking it very easy... Only just managed to portion the last of my 2l of water to get home.

i thought putting a fan up to the window pointing outwards for hours would help ?
(this is how ive got it right now)

last night i put it over the other side of the bedroom and put it on max (in one direction) and seemed to help better ?

It works better if the fan is taking in cold air from outside.

Hot in my office already

They were trying to say on the news that yesterday was the hottest august bank holiday ever because Heathrow recorded temperatures of 33c.

Not quite sure that a gigantic concrete/tarmac heatsink which has literal jets of heat parading around and didn't even exist (properly) 50 years ago is the best place to measure historic temperatures  makes for a good headline though I guess.
