Aye, you're right. Usually I wouldn't give two hoots. Except for the fact I've not installed iTunes on my new Win 8 install because it's been imminent for weeks and months. And my last iTunes install was a bit weird over WiFi, so I'm not enthusiastic about installing 10 then upgrading.

Waiting for new software is about as interesting as paint drying

UI looks terribad. Why make the header so large. Looks so childish and not very professional in my opinion.

Some of the design elements and usability is all wrong. It's so disjointed. Why have where you want to go, be it, music, movies, apps etc... on the total opposite side to the iTunes Store/Library tab...only reason i can see is to make the UI look neat.

Want cover flow back. I found this a much better way to quickly scroll through albums covers instead of the tiles.

EDIT - Looks as though i'm going to live in the playlist view and make playlists to make everything a bit easier to view.

I do like the way the colour schemes change between each albums though! That's a nice touch!

Is this set by the artist?

Think I'm going to live in Playlist view. Much nicer.

I imagine it's taken from the first pixels of the album art? Just like the menu bar in iOS?

Hmmmm no way to change the background colour. My retinas burn with the white.

It seems to pic the colour from the album art.

It sets the background, text colour and selection colour based on the album art colours. Nice touch.

Yeah its artwork dependant. They've done a good job making it switch between a contrasting pair. Some of the crappier artwork doesnt look so great in the fade but hey its a lovely touch.
I love the window that pops up so you can create a playlist or a link to your iPhone. Really like that feature
