First thing I noticed is they brought some colour back into side bar icons! Could be an insight into the next 10.9 OS X release, moving back away from the john major dull greyness.
It is a social feature where photos from gigs and things are posted. Presumably no one has done it yet
Works fine for me on W7. ~350mb ram used so a bit more than before but it is oh so smooth. Not that keen on some of the placement of things but the biggest plus for me, and one that outweighs all negatives, is my music no longer cuts out 75% of the way through a song.
After a full 5 minutes of playing - I quite like it! No complaints for me so far... seems faster, looks nicer - Pretty much all I wanted from the update to be honest Now all I need is for Apple to bring out some sort of "Spotify" service, and I'll throw them even more money
I wasn't particularly unhappy with iTunes 10. But really like 11. They've really polished some of the sections that I had got used to but were clearly lacking. ie books, podcasts etc
The only thing so far I'm not hugely keen on is selective syncing apps has changed from a tick box to a button that either states "install" or "remove" makes it quite difficult to skim.
Ooo really liking the "Up Next" feature - I use this a lot in Spotify, and missed it in iTunes The new mini player is also a good addition, but I wish you could lock it into the Menu Bar. Would be very helpful to be able to change song whilst using other apps... All good stuff though New icon looks swish also
