Is the new Evanescence Album available to buy on iTunes as i have it pre-ordered but it's not due for release until 2/10

I've also noticed the slow album artwork browsing. I really want to use the feature but:
-I have adjust my mouse wheel scroll speed to 1 line if I want to cycle through album covers one at a time.
-some artwork is never displayed unless i'm directly over the item in the album viewer. So I get a lot of blank ones if I scroll through rapidly. Seems a bit more fluid if I reduce the size of the viewer though.

they say it outputs directsound to foobar..from what i can gather. do you have to have both running then? semms a strange way to do it. It'd be a lt easier if itunes itself did asio.I'm pretty sure the Foobar process is instructed to read the original file rather than having the audio piped over from iTunes. You don't have to launch both applications yourself - it simply has foobar2000.exe running as an invisible application, so it's transparent to the user.james.miller said:how does that work thenthey say it outputs directsound to foobar..from what i can gather. do you have to have both running then? semms a strange way to do it. its confusing me anyway. foobar taking a DS input and then outputting thru a kernal streaming plugin wont help sound quality. If anything direct sound on its own from itunes would be better....its a myth that foobar is a better sounding player. its all down doing as little with the input audio as possible.
