J Connor is Back!

Aye T1 was a good movie. I think most people aged around 22 or under might struggle with the not so great effects compared to those of today. Personally I sometimes like the old look of things.

T2 was definatly better, it was HUGE when released! I still remember all the hype about that back then today.

T3 was such a disappointment though, it just had no REAL progression on its story where as T4 at the moment looks like what T3 should have been. And WOW at the 200 Million dollor budget! The new batman was much less than that.

Edit: I'll tell ya the moment personally for me about T3 where I knew it was gonna be bad. The moment Arnie puts on those GD awful sunglasses.. maybe I'm not with "it" today but that was just an awful pun from the cool T2 reference back in the 90s.

Looks ok, but doesn't really show enough. If Bale is anywhere near as good as his is in batman, then there may be some hope for this. I'm keeping an open mind as i want it to be good, think we've all wanted to see the war when it was glimpsed in the first film.

Heard rumors the director has had a go at the studio and told them he's filming it his way and wants it to be r-rated, and that a full trailer will be shown before the new bond film.

It has the potential to be good. I mean after T3 they would do hard to make a film any worse. It would be like how Alien 4 seemed "good" after seeing Alien 3's theatre cut.

I still don't like how there is some wierd and unknown director at the helm. I only hope that he is a die hard Terminator fanatic and knows the "universe" inside out.

Another problem is that this movie will get some bad rep initially. Everyone will be saying that Bale is attempting to revive another franchise after his success with Batman...

He's been in CSI-NY a couple of times!... Looks about 80 but still sounds the same (don't think his voice ever broke!!)..

Bale's been acting far longer than Keanu.. anyone remember 'Empire of the Sun'.. anyhew.. hopefully this should be good!.. can't be any worse than T3

Ugh, CSI. Quincy was much better and it had better special effects. Maybe he had that thing where you balls dont drop? So he cant get any serious work.

Keanu has been acting for dfonkeys. Remember devils Ted and bills amazing journey?

I have to say I hated T3, the main reason being, it really wound me up how John Connor went from a ballsy little **** (T2), into a total pussy. Fair play, I admit, being hunted by a super advance robot sent back through time with the sole purpose of killing me would make me **** my pants somewhat, but come on people, how the **** is that soppy tart gonna lead the war against the machines?!?! Complete and utter Betty Swollocks!!

I agree. The guy who played John Connor was not suited for the part in T3. John Connor is strong character, the T3 Connor wasn't.

You actually thought Alien: Rez was better than Alien 3? Even the bog standard cut of Alien 3 is far far better than the rubbish that followed.

I did too. Both are bad films, but A3 is just an extended rock video with possibly the worst ending of any film of the last thirty years. The molten lead was fun (even if it alluded to a historically inaccurate idea), but the final plunge had half the cinema I was watching it in (at the original release) laughing out loud it was so stupid. Add an alien which is bigger than the dog it just popped out of, the idea that group of psychopathic criminals would turn into monks and the casual killing of all but one of the previous survivors (presumably because they'd read the script and didn't want to get involved) and the film is laughably bad. A4 is certainly very silly (the two main "scientific" ideas are way past impossible and into pseudo-science), but at least it had a sense that the director knew what he was doing.
