Those photos show one of the things that frustrated me about Jags dealerships (aside from awful service). They couldn't even mop the damn floor!
Nice. Good to hear your thoughts. Never did launch right and needed a halo car a with touch more power than the 380bhp S variant.
Massive uplift in the interior and electrical system at 21MY was then ruined by covid and 4 cylinder only engine options.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the actual plate either. When I went to get my XE they put the wrong reg onThose photos show one of the things that frustrated me about Jags dealerships (aside from awful service). They couldn't even mop the damn floor!
Has anyone noticed the list price of these cars lately?
They are now considerably cheaper than all of the competition - the cheapest version is just £33k list price and for this you get a 200bhp diesel with adaptive cruise control and electric memory seats. If you want a BMW 3 Series of the same power and specification, even a basic version without some of that specification is over £43k and by the time you've added the seats and the adaptive cruise you are well over £45k, which is more expensive than the top of the range Jaguar with 300bhp!
These are huge price differences. I went from wondering why anyone would buy one of these to wondering why more people don't. I think the 3 Series is a better car, but the price difference is so significant I am not sure this is relevant. There must be almost no competition for them at this price.
I think they are missing something in the marketing as I doubt many people realise how cheap they are new now compared with the competition.
What else can you get new for £33k these days?

Have you noticed how many new XEs are on the road? They are almost non-existent. JLR don't even offer them on Privilege anymore.Has anyone noticed the list price of these cars lately?

keep working hard Jonny. My dad did 36 years at Castle Brom. My mums widows pension depends on youProject 8 was a little beyond a halo
castle brom since covid has never recovered. All the chips, tech etc prioritised to the Land Rovers and Range Rovers. Real shame.

If they have, there must be next to nil build slots. I think I see 1 new one for every 100 old XEs.Is it not because they've got all the build slots booked up for a finite amount of variations in order to make way for an all electric line up? Sales guy said the staff all wanted one but got landed with Volvos

Haven’t had a chance to take any decent pictures due to the horrendous weather but I’ll definitely get some and share my thoughts, I think it’s worthwhile in this case given how little exposure these cars get.when do we see the cabin shot - real leather and the meridian blessed hifi sounds good - whats the equaliser like
I hadn't realised these have the superior wishbone suspension too (after johnny previously discussed it's presence on ipace) - one over the bmw
mpg will be interesting to hear.
