Jack Tweed

I really dont care, if you commit a crime and and are sent to prison, that's where you should remain until your time is done. You accept this when you break the law. Maybe he should've thought about the future consequences when he was belting someone with a golf club... But hey ho, they'll let him out anyway, so who cares?

As has been pointed out, most clearly by Moley, any criminal can apply for compassionate leave to attend the funeral of a close relative. We don't need to dehumanise prisoners any more by denying them the right to say goodbye to their loved ones, Jack Tweed is not special in this regard, he is simply higher profile currently than most.

Read this morning that Clifford was saying what a fine upstanding young lad he is and Jades mum also chipping in saying that Tweed has been the best husband that Jade has ever had...made me laugh that did:p.

Honestly Tweedy boy is nothing but a little scumbag who isnt worth my time to read about him...plainly obvious that he was only with Jade because of the money she was raking in.

He wont have control of the money, it will all be in trust funds, the father of the children will have control, he seems like the only normal and one with any sense in the family.

Unless there was a pre-nup, as her husband he'll certainly be entitled to a large proportion of it I'd imagine.

I fully expect that Jade Goody will have made some provision for him in her will - as would any loving partner in a relationship.

However it's also highly likely that the majority of the money has been locked up in trust funds for the kids where nobody can get their hands on it.

I for one don't see the problem with him getting some money, it's hardly going to compensate him for the loss of his wife now is it?

Given what I've seen of him, I suspect he'll 'bounce back' just fine... Prepare for pictures of him with some classy bimbos in the next few months... Oh hang on! He'll be in prison! Make that as soon as he's out of prison then!

Do you even know the guy? Or are you just making totally uninformed assumptions based on what you've read in the papers and seen on the TV?

Hands up, yes to a degree! Well that and the fact he seems to be constantly on trial for bashing people up

I'm sure inbetween bashing people over the head he's a jolly nice fellow... :)

He's not the smartest tool in the box I'll give you that, but I'm not about to start judging the guy at this terrible time in his life. According to those close to him he has been a tower of strength for Jade and her kids - which goes to show he isn't the total loser some people seem to think he is.

If I were in his shoes, I would get the prison sentence over and done with as quietly and efficiently as possible and then get on with a normal quiet life. Well as much as is possible anyway.

Good point! Well said!

Who doesn't hate crims

Nothing to be confused about mate, there are a lot of people out there who have criminal records who don't deserve to be hated on.

Granted there are groups of criminals - burglars, muggers, sex offenders, etc - who if they are actively engaged in criminal activity or are what you would call 'career criminals' - deserve all they get.

However there is a large population of people in this country who find themselves on the wrong side of the law just once in their lifetime - or for a very short period in their lifetime - and who are branded 'criminals' and treated as second class citizens for the rest of their law abiding life.

This is the last great form of socially acceptable discrimination in this country - where it's generally accepted to hate on these people, turn them away from jobs etc and say they deserve it - just the kind of behaviour that used to be reserved for Irish, blacks and asians 30 years ago but is now no longer acceptable.

IIRC he works in the police force so...

The majority of us public hate the man send him away for the funeral and perhaps he'll think twice about reoffending in the future..
