I was under the impression he was only good at Lazio? Where the players he had happened to fit in perfectly with his only tactic. We've seen on plenty of occasions he has no idea how to use a tactic to suit the players.

very true. I think sven should dissapear never to be seen again. do everyone a favour! If he does well at the wc everyone will forgive him and he can dissapear on a good note. rather than messing it up again 6 months down the line!

The player formerly know as God has returned? That rumour's been doing the rounds for a few weeks but I didn't actually think it would happen. I could've got pretty good odds if I had actually bothered to put money on it

I don't know how much he'll play in the first team but his ability and finishing skills have surely got to provide some inspiration to our current strikers. I'd love him to finish his career at Liverpool and get a coaching role like Rush did. Just imagine if he did, for some unknown reason, recapture his form of old :eek:

Big IF tho. IMO he's still the best and most natural finisher the Premiership has ever seen.

It's not just about goals with Fowler- it's about the experience he brings. If he can mentor Crouch, Cisse and Pongolle there are huge benefits to be had.
