Tonight's Liverpool rumour is that we've had a bid of £8m rejected by Inter for Coutinho. Assuming the story is true, I can't imagine we've bid unless there's a realistic chance that Inter are willing to sell - in which case I'm a little bit excited. Admittedly I've not seen him play a great deal over the last year or so but I saw a fair bit of him when he first broke into the Inter side and he looked like he was going to become a superstar.

And they can't be earning more than the player that's departed? Which I imagine means we're probably paying most of his wages for you

Wahey, I can actually care about something in the transfer thread. Although the fact that Hearts have to operate a one-in and one-out policy plus they need to be under 21 does somewhat take the shine of having the transfer embargo lifted.
