I highly doubt Sherwood has anything to do with that. Has to be someone else at Spurs.

If he does go Spurs then it is the biggest kick in the face for us over all other transfers. It will show how weak we are with actually signing players, Spurs have a few wide players and we are in a better league position than Spurs at the moment and arguably look better.

The deal for us is meant to be close with Ayre hoping to finalise it in the morning.

Yeah, but this is my point. I don't like that someone else can dictate to a manager what players they will be having. I don't think we would have lost too many targets to spurs had AVB been signing players as he probably/maybe fancied other players.
 
He wants to join City is what's being reported but Porto haven't agreed a deal with any club yet. His contract is up in the summer so if that is the case City shouldn't have too much of a problem forcing Porto into a deal.

Tbf if wouldn't be a transfer window for us without spurs being linked to some one we are though I'm sure we will get some one in judging from Rodgers last comments anyway
 
Apparently Pep Guardiola said this about Toni Kroos... So it looks hopeful for united... Could happen before summer.

But that is from the Express so how much of it is true...

Me either, the club is showing a complete lack of ambition. The money is clearly there, but if you were him, and the club that wanted to sign you were squabbling over a few £m here and there, I wouldn't want to go either!

We haven't signed a player for over a year now, just 2 loans in.
