*January Transfer Window 2014/15 Season Rumours/Signings*

Reading between the lines, it seems like Chelsea are playing hardball on the money they want.

I read that it was related to the "professional development fee" that's due to the club that developed him as a youth. 5% of the transfer fee apparently, and Chelsea are keen for Wolfsberg to pay it.

No idea whether or not there's any truth in that.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Andre stay until the Summer (even if he won't get many minutes), but I don't want it to get in the way of Cuadrado signing.

Well, the deadline has passed, so if he hasn't signed by now then I guess it's not happening. I suppose we'll find out one way or another in the next hour or so.

From Bild:

Transfer the final sprint in the Premier League - and finally, the change from world champion Andre Schurrle (24) from Chelsea to VfL Wolfsburg perfect!

Looking good - although the £26.8m is higher than has been reported so far. That's the full 35m euro release clause.

I'm looking forward to seeing Cuadrado on the pitch. I have high hopes. I expect to see plenty of dancing :p

For the record, I'd just like to point out I dislike the person responsible for the thread subject title today. :)

Shurrle deal reported by Bild as 32m Euro plus 5m Euro add ons.

Essentially a straight swap for Cuadrado then.

If the price is correct, then it's quite a decent amount of cash for Schurrle. He was signed 18 months ago for 21m euro, and hasn't played an enormous amount.

Wolfsberg have got great value out of De Bruyne though, so I guess it evens out :p

Crystal Palace have re-signed winger Wilfried Zaha from Manchester United on a five-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Zaha has been playing on loan for Palace this season - the Eagles having sold him to United for £15m in January 2013.

The 22-year-old never started a Premier League game for United, and made just two substitute appearances - in the Community Shield and a League Cup tie against Norwich - in an overall total of four games for the club.

Zaha made his debut for Palace in 2010 after playing in the club’s academy sides since the age of 12. In January 2013 he agreed to join Manchester United on a five-and-a-half year deal but was immediately loaned back to Palace for the remainder of the 2012/13 season.

Out of favour with United coach David Moyes in last season, Zaha completed a loan move to Cardiff City in January 2014 before his season-long loan return to Selhurst Park last August.

Never got much of a chance. Another odd signing for us. People said he had a very poor attitude though, so maybe that was it.
