January Transfer Window 2017/18

Good, another wasted £140k a week off the wage bill.
Yes that's true but you're not going to have a team left at this rate lol. Malcolm isn't comming no talks have took place apparently. Sky are reporting this .and according to bbc no offer has been put in for Aubameyang

The new guy is Sven Mislintat. He left Dortmund for us. He was responsible for the scouting and signing of many of Dortmund’s greatest players like Hummels, Lewandowski, Kagawa, Gundogan, Aubameyang, Dembélé and more. He was also trying to bring in Malcom to Dortmund to replace Dembélé after he left for Barca. Sven obviously knows his stuff.

We also have another guy who worked for Barca at transfer negotiations and is supposed to be one of the worlds best at getting them over the line. Things certainly look better for us on that front now.
I think you're pushing his importance at Dortmund a bit there. He was a scout who worked under Zorc who worked alongside/under Klopp. He'd have scouted these players but the decision to sign them wouldn't have been made by him. I'm sure for every Hemmels there's another player he recommended that turned out **** too but those names won't get much mention.

Who's hemmels:p runs for cover lol

You know I can edit posts secretly and make you look silly too? :p

Hemmels is the **** version of Hummels that Zorc didn't want to sign ;)

Walcott scored 19 goals last season. When our squad is already threadbare it makes no sense to sell him. He should be starting on the right.

Asked if the club are trying to sign Alexis Sanchez, Conte says: 'I don't think so.'

So now it's down to Raiola and Arsenal. Hopefully it's a formality despite what Raiola might come out with (he said there was no Pogba deal the day before he joined so take what he says with a pinch of salt).

Reading between the lines it sounds like Raiola is looking for some sort of pay off for him/his player.

Yep, he'll want a pay off from us and lots of bonuses from Arsenal. He's a very aggressive negotiator and unusual character.

99% of agents are the same, it just so happens that it's been his players that have been involved in high profile deals where at least one of the clubs involved has been desperate and he's leveraged that.

If you were selling Mkhitaryan in isolation, unless you were desperate to get rid of him at all costs then there's not much bargaining power with him but with it being suggested that Mkhitaryan holds the key to the Sanchez deal, it gives him leverage to get the best possible deal for him and Mkhitaryan.

I'm sure that's the case to a degree but Raiola does seem a bit crazier than the others. He threw a chair at the Borussia Dortmund negotiators when we were signing Mkhitaryan...

I suspect we'll have to pay half of his remaining contract off or something. :(

It's funny, Walcott was never good enough for Arsenal's starting 11, but now with their current team and form, he would fit right in and be one of the better ones.. and they're selling him, you couldn't make it up! :D

Sky Sports News now reporting it would be a straight swap, Mkhitaryan for Sanchez (they could be guessing though).

It really depends on just how keen Utd/Arsenal are to get it over the line. All agents will push for as much as they can get for themselves and their players.

Lol what?

Walcott gets nowhere an Arsenal team that I would pick. He doesn't even make the bench.

£20m for him is daylight robbery based on his current form, failed experiment. I wish him all the best at Everton but I'm not sad he is leaving.

Not too keen on that, I can understand the logic given the terms remaining on contracts but think that represents a poor deal for Arsenal.
