January Transfer Window

Spurs have signed Cardiff's 18 year old RB Gunter in a deal worth £4m.

They also made a move for Woodgate, which I hope happens as the latest injury news about King means I'm not expecting to see him in a Spurs shirt this season.

Plus it looks like Bale's out for 7 months, plus we could do with an experienced CB. Didn't know about the move for Woodgate though

What is it with Tottenham and Everton always trying to sign Boros best players its getting a bit silly tbh you can have Riggott but you aint having Woodgate

you undersatnd me. first the constant specualtion of downing and now woodgate.

ARGH!
Guys try listening to gobby Man U fans EVERYDAY going on about how it's just a formality they're signing Berbatov.... for the past 9 months

Anyway we gave you Mido, it's only fair you sell us a player ;):D

So annoying we keep getting long term injuries to important players. Bale and King are sorely missed :(

I'm not so sure about another 18 year old for big money but he really does seem to be highly rated. Everton have made 2 previous bids for him and some Welsh fans reckon he's a brighter prospect than Bale...

He can play LB or RB which is great for us as he can cover Chimbonda and allow him to play at CB if required. Pity he can't sign until Jan 1.

Don't think it's disgraceful in the slightest. They pay his wages and if reports are to be believed he cares more about the nightlife than his football and if his recent performances and apparent lack of effort are anything to go by I think he deserves all he gets.

When, where?

I dont know a single Man U fan that wants him, or rates him?

Agreed, his performances this season have been shocking, he's looked way below 100% fitness for a long while now so it's only himself to blame. I'm surprised he still gets selected.

Is it just me or is this disgraceful?

After that abuse, i wouldnt be suprised to see him go as early at January.
Why? He laps it up and makes millions upon millions from fans worshipping him, are they not allowed to make their feelings known when he lets them down? Of course he's not happy... neither are the fans. He can do something about it, knuckle down in training and try harder.

He isnt doing that bad though. As usual, the hype, or lack their of, has taken over here.

He's played 10 games in LaLiga this year. Scoring 6 goals, and 19 assists(the assists cant be right can it?) Thats not awful by any stretch of the imagination.

Im all for giving players a kick up the rear, but to turn up at the airport with the only reason being to verbally abuse a player, its no wonder their confidences are low!

Doesn't matter if you ain't winning and Barca are struggling at the moment. At the risk of sounding corny/TV pundit, it's a 90-minute game, being good for 5 of those minutes and totally indifferent for the the other 85 just doesn't cut the mustard unless you're sat 10 points clear at the top of the league and your defense is solid.

I really don't think the fans would have gone after him if a) he'd worked his arse off on the field and b) stopped the party lifestyle whilst his form has dropped. He's fundamentally lazy. A brilliant talent, no doubt about that but he's work-shy which is a real shame. I really can't see who would want him anyway if he keeps the attitude up. Chel$ki already have a work-shy one-time "Player of the Year" striker on many £££££££££'s who is only in the team cos he's mates with owner. Can't see Ferguson getting along with the lifestyle he lives and he's not 12-15 so Arsenal won't be interested. Liverpool - would the Yanks splash that kind of cash? Plus, the Premier league would just pass him by - crunching takles from a random Derby County youth team player who's covering injuries, not sure he'd cope with that! That all leaves Italy - Milan? Possibly I suppose.

He needs to get his arse in gear, put his head down and work for the cash he gets paid!

Exactly. This guy gets paid more in a day than any of those shouting abuse at him earn in a year, they're angry because they see someone who can't be bothered giving his all for 90 mins a ******* week!

I've no sympathy, I didn't see anything thrown at him or anyone try to hit him just some verbal abuse.... he's the mega star, deal with it.

Can't imagine fans are particularly impressed with those players being seen together anyway, especially less than 24 hours after they played each other.

Can you imagine the uproar if Rooney and Ronaldo buggered off on holiday with Gerrard and Torres?

I guet where you are coming from......

but personally I wouldnt have an issue seeing Tevez and Mascherano heading off together - they have been friendly allies for a long time (they hardly played together at WHU after all) and I dont see a big deal out of it, heading back to Argentina I hasten to add

Rooney and Gerrard going on holiday together (as they wouldnt be heading "home") would be really infuriating - although highly unlikely ever to happen

True.
But its not hard to see how he's lost his motivation for playing his heart out is it? When you get abused. No matter how much he gets payed, he's still human.
