January Transfer Window

They're different players really, Johnson is a much better dribbler whereas Downing has a better cross (yes I'm aware he cocks up the majority of his crosses but he does get some right, like today...), he's also much more creative than Johnson but he isn't exactly playing with the best players so it's hard to excel at Boro.

Johnson will be better when older I'd imagine.

his crosses were superb when we went to the uefa cup finals. the whole team were superb, but he was something special that season. i dont think he'll ever hit that form again

Apparently a slight breeze swept through Manchester United's training ground on Friday, leaving Saha with damaged knee ligaments and potentially out for the season. Will Fergie be looking for some backup up front?

I was just about to report that also - to be honest I cant see Man Utd NOT buying someone now, and I really hope its Huntelaar

We have three players who have been used in the past in that kind of position (not including Tevez and Rooney)

Ronaldo, Giggs and Anderson - all of which bring a lot more to the team in their natural positions (and are pretty much wasted imo either in the hole or completely up front)

We also have this Angolan striker who has never actually played for us yet - and may even be having work permit issues anyway.

I feel for Saha, but I really hope we get someone in sharpish

Oh well. Never mind, we have better alternatives. Give Fabian Brandy a bloody go!

if sahas out for the season we simply have to bring someone in.

we cannot compete in the PL, CL and Fa Cup with only 2 strikers can we ?

If there isnt much money available then lets see if we can get larsson in again !
