January Transfer Window

Anelka is doing quite well, his CV must look pretty impressive, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Paris St Germain and now Chelsea added to the list.

If he can just manage to sign for Man Utd at some point in his career then he will have the luxury of saying that he played for the "big 4" :)

But as it is he can say he hasn't played for the "big 1" :p.

Fred has had bids accepted by Lyon from Paris Saint German, Spurs and Portsmouth.

Interesting if those bids were placed today as surely Redknapp would have had to give the go ahead for the bid.
Either way, Boro are mental for not bidding up.

Actually it was only 21 ;)

Not sure exactly but i'd imagine no more than 10 of those were starts if that and most of those starts were when we played all 3 of him, Owen and Heskey, our first choice front pairing was still Heskey and Owen.

Not really, when Anelka played for us he was far from setting the world alight. The reason why Heskey was preffered was because of his partnership with Owen and at the time Owen was the main man and he's very fussy over who he can play with.

Kanoute is a v.good player, similar to Berbatov. Same sulky kind of attitude, superb first touch, goalscorer, decepetively quick and can hold the ball up. Always rated him at Spurs and got laughed off the boards here for saying he was quality... then he went to Spain and shut everyone the **** up :)

If it's true Spurs have bid then Berbatov is 100% guaranteed to leave in the summer, possibly even this week if they get Kanoute.
