January Transfer Window

Some Newcastle rumours

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan is wasting no time getting involved in the transfer market and has targeted Jermain Defoe and Shaun Wright-Phillips. (Various)

Deco, Scott Brown, Daniel van Buyten and Wes Brown are also on Keegan's 'money-no-object' wanted list. (Daily Telegraph)

Scott Brown :D

Sorry but his name appearing in the middle of that list amuses me. He`s gash. :D

He's not prolific because he doesn't play, he doesn't have problems for Scotland. He's very skillful and can pass, he'd be perfect as a SS for Middlesbrough with Tuncay. Just what they needed.

Spotted this in the Gossip column today:

Wigan goalkeeper Chris Kirkland wants to become a fireman when he quits playing football (Independent).

Lol, can you imagine him going on a shout? He'd try and kick a window in and it'd probably be his leg that breaks.

Im not sure its worth gambling on letting Carrick go just yet even if it means getting Berba 6 months early (which isnt gaurenteed by any means)

Even for (a lot?) less money Fletcher should be out the door first imo
