I like the look of that Benzema chappy. Pretty mobile and techinically very good. Reminds me a bit of Christoph Dugarry albeit a lot lot quicker.
 
Yeah, he looks the business, but we've all seen it before with players having blinders then not turning out to be very good.

Rumours are we're gonna go after Henrik Larsson for a final blowout it the Premiership.

Wouldnt be too bad to have Larsson for a bit.

Recon 'nited going after any more young prospects? When do they get these twins?

Momo is having a mare at the moment, think he will be gone in the summer. I will be gutted if we sell Xabi-I know I will get flamed for this but he is our most important player (except maybe Carra). Stevie G is class, but without Xabi we are completely devoid of ideas. Look what happened against Chelsea when he went off-ok, Crouch didnt help things, but we couldnt even put balls through to the wide men after we lost Alonso.

Lucas looks to be coming along, his movement was good in the 1st half, and he played a fairly quiet but effective midfield role in the 2nd.
 
from what i've seen of benzema i would absolutely drool if we got him but there is always the worry of flash in the pan or unable to adapt. Lahm would be a pretty safe bet in my opinion, i think he could play anywhere. hadn't heard the larsson one and i don't know if he'd want to do the premiership thing again, i'd be pretty happy if we got him though.

I believe we can officially take them in January, whether he will or not is the question.
We need a right-back, which is great, but I believe the LB is supposed to be the better of the 2, but how do you replace Evra who has been exceptional this season.

I think a right back would be probably the only position we need someone.

And perhaps a young player as cover for Evra, someone for the future.

Im not sure why they havent renewed Evra's contract already though?

Lahm would be nice.
 
Yeah, that's baffling, we need to get Evra done and dusted as soon as possible.
I don't think cover for him is vital with Johnny Evans, Gerard Pique and John O'Shea all capable of filling in.

Simpson can play right back, but if I'm being honest, I want a more respected and experienced RB there, I like many other Man Utd fans aren't too confident on Gary Nevilles recovery, he's broken down 3 times in his recovery as it is, another wouldn't be surprising.

Lahm would be nice though, however I still don't think he's at the necessary level, but he could improve and he has played at a high level.
 
Liverpool need to get rid of Riise, he aint good enough. Voronin, Kuyt or Crouch, one of them need to go. Preferably Voronin or Kuyt. I still think Crouch is a very good option to have.

Sissoko needs kicking out the door. I've never seen a player in any team be as much a liability as he is. He is so shockingly bad that I feel embarressed for him when he plays. Even if he got 'better' he is so bad that better isn't enough. You cant teach someone with no natural footballing ability to start playing football when he obviously wasn't made to do so.

But anyway, with the money from these sales we should have enough to buy a few QUALITY players and not just space fillers.

We have a great spine in the team with Reina - Carra/Agger - Gerrard/Alonso/Masch - Torres.

I think we need 3-4 QUALITY players overall. A fantastic winger, another great striker and a LB/CB.

we all dream of a team full of voronins. ;)

nokkon; i can't think of many players in lahms position better than him or with better potential.

Man Utd have signed Angola international striker Manucho on a 3 year deal.

Great buy imo much better than Anelka and Berbatov :)

Anybody know who the **** he is?
 
Nice. We was never going to sign Berbatov so he'll do. Gives us backup towards the end of the season. Shame he's at the ACN though.

Spurs have signed Cardiff's 18 year old RB Gunter in a deal worth £4m.

They also made a move for Woodgate, which I hope happens as the latest injury news about King means I'm not expecting to see him in a Spurs shirt this season.
 
What is it with Tottenham and Everton always trying to sign Boros best players its getting a bit silly tbh you can have Riggott but you aint having Woodgate

why cant we have some concrete things about a new manager or some other goal scorers?

Maybe because you have the odd good players that wouldn't look out of place in a top6 side? :p
