Japanese Grand Prix 2010, Suzuka - Race 16/19

Hopefully some mixed weather will throw a spanner in the consistent Ferrari works! Otherwise I fear the teflonso will extend his lead.

He's not in the lead :) Webber is still top, small margin though!

This weekend I'm betting will be Hamiltons rise to winning form, you heard it here first! (I want Webber to win really!)

Good point, but I fear his momentum is strong. Hamilton needs to do something this weekend. First I would say finish. Second, high in the points. Last race was just unlucky, race before was stupid.. he needs to turn it round now.

I can't see Webber's luck holding out much more.

I just want to see the underdog reign supreme, even though if he does I bet nothing will change within RB, noses will still be well and truly stuck inside the body of a young German driver.

I know everyone will remember it, but it's one my favourite passes ever:

:)

That was a great move on the entry to the 130R. MS got mugged, either he didn't see him or expect him to try that there because if Ms had've made it slightly harder there's no way he could have carried the speed and made the corner off line.

Perfectly timed and i'd say one of the three best passes of the last 15 years and all of them funnily enough on MS.

Am I the only sadact then who sets my alarm for 5am on Suzuka weekend? :(

I will. Not sure when they will have the F1 forum though on Sunday - after the race itself or the re-run at lunchtime. Looking on Sky, the re-run looks like it chops out most of the build up?

I've been debating watching Bathurst Live then switch over just in time to fall asleep for qualifying :)

Interesting to see how the Mclarens do here. I was pleasantly surprised that they did "ok" in Singapore (yes...Hamiltons incident), performance wise on such a low-speed circuit, with bumps which tend to upset the apparently stiffer Macca chassis.

Red Bull out in front by miles? Doubt it.
Ferrari Close behind (well Alonso anyway) - Very much so.
Mclaren? Makes me nervous that I dont really know how they will fare. Hoping it's a case where they claw back in S3.

iirc Suzuka is quite a bumpy circuit, especially in S1 and 2?

Anyways, on a purely personal/fan level, hoping both Maccas get into the top 3 positions.

Hell no!! I love getting up early to watch F1!

Hoping either Webber or Hami get their act together now. At this rate McLaren and Red Bull's on tack antics are going to hand the title to Alonso. While a great driver, I can't stand the guys constant whining/crying.

Side note, does anyone know what happened to CS|Nuts? I temember him posting loads in these threads, but I've not seen him in months :x
After they crashed into each other he hasn't posted. They put all of their employees in a big room and whipped them until they promised not to say anything to anyone ever again. Shame.

Yeah it's a shame not just for his F1 input but because he was a nice guy, shame he doesn't post anymore. I think he's Vettel and got the hump after we all turned on him ;)

Hamilton to DNF, I will be surprised if a red bull doesn't win. They were the fastest car in the last race and I can't see that changing until next season now and Kers.
