Japanese Grand Prix 2010, Suzuka - Race 16/19

This is what I said when Lewis fans were praying Alonso would have engine changes, the penalty is too harsh. You shouldn't lose two fold. You have lost points because of something out of your control, like a gearbox failure and then you get a double whammy.

Stupid rule, leave the drive alone and give the constructor half points for the next race.

Yes he was going quicker, still think he'd of had a job getting ahead of the McLaren, they could have had a good shot of getting 5th.
would have been easy check the sector times ;)

1.2seconds quicker in the middle alone, hamilton must have been dog slow out of the hairpin

Couldn't Hamilton have floored it in 2nd, then the double shift to 4th would have been minimised? Deffinatly going to try and see what its like driving round the track on F1 2010, without 3rd gear.

Yes from the screenshot it would have been easy to have done that. When I posted that Michael must have had a bad 2nd sector.

Lewis only had gears 4-7, so yup he would have been really slow out of the hairpin.

yea i know this i was clearly replying to the person who thought it might have been easy for hamilton to defend even when missing gears if schumacher wouldnt have been held up by rosberg for so long.

actually looking at the lap charts schumacher was going 0.5seconds faster than rosberg when brawn had him pit...

team orders

Whitmarsh said they wanted to avoid passing through third at all to get the car to the end, he was only using 4th to 7th.
