just like i suspected then.

mercs old drs system was pressure activated whilst everyone else was a knee/hand and they had a lot of trouble getting it right at the different circuits.

suzuka was one of the main issues they had as the crosswinds would sometimes make the drag drop in area you wouldnt want it to

But they seem to have been using up FP time on and off for several GP now. Surely that could have gone into other things rather than trying to tune it each time to a new circuit, ultimately for no reward.

Unless you mean a first corner crash or shenanigans at the chicane, in which case no, Alonso has to much to loose at the moment.

Yep, Alonso isn't in a position to take out other drivers in order to secure his lead just yet. Unless he can take out Hamilton, Vettel, Kimi, Webber, Button etc for the next six races.

I wasn't insinuating that he would...

Pingwing was asking if anyone thought there would be a Senna / Prost moment, I was simply saying (as Skeeter did) that it wouldn't be in Alonso's best interests to perform such a manoeuvre at this stage of the season whether he wanted to of not.
