Thanks Duke
I will be up for this.
1st Lewis
2nd Button
3 don't care
BBC need a kick for not choosing this one
Surely it's still in McLaren's interest to support Lewis to the end of the season for the WCC.
How are the drivers selected for those? Always seems a bit of a random pick.
and why rosberg was saying he wanted the lower number next season
Rosberg won't have that choice. Schumacher got away with asking for the lower number because he's always had an odd-numbered car (there is no car 13, so when he was 2nd driver in his early career he was still in an odd-numbered car) and Mercedes were willing to go along with that, but otherwise the lower number always goes to the driver who finished higher in the previous year's WDC. That's why Hamilton was car 1 in 2009 after winning his title, but car 2 in 2010 after Button joined McLaren. So if Hamilton finishes second in the WDC this year, next year he will be in car 3; if he's third behind Vettel or fourth behind both Red Bulls he'll be in car 5; if he's fourth behind Vettel and Raikkonen he'll get car 7.
Kamui, Schumacher, Hamilton, Perez and.... hmm, Massa?
