I miss when wet races were a treat every now and then - now it’s just namby pamby babying and mentioning Jules every 30 seconds. It was terrible and a great loss to the sport but it was also a freak accident.

I do think it's completely unacceptable, but I also think this incident is way worse as the tractor was on track rather than off track.
Herbert was right though, drivers these days don't slow enough for yellows. It's why Bianchi crashed those years ago too.
Need driving under yellows to be looked in to.

If they are going to rely on slowing for double yellows, the rules would have to be applied forcefully, with severe penalties applied which they won't do.

If they want the flags taken seriously they need to implement speed limits for the flags. None of this ‘show a lift’ nonsense that’s been plaguing the sport for years.

I used to be excited about the prospect of a wet race - but now i know it will just be a load of waiting around until it is inters conditions and then a procession.

Listening to Andreas Seidl sounds like this isn't happening, at some point the credibility of the sport is going to take a hammering.

Di Resta making a good point about tech slowing down cars in other series (WEC for example). Its high time that when a yellow flag / VSC / Red is thrown that they get a countdown of some kind (5 secs / 10 secs) and then a speed limiter applies.

Doesn't work like that anymore, they would need to be laps without the safety car - can't see that happening any time soon
Christ do we honestly need to speak to every single team boss / person about a recovery vehicle on the circuit?
