Joe Rogan and Spotify

I wonder what the RFK folks make of this then, just like the trump thread, things might just get fairly silent here too from a certain crowd :p

"Furthermore, atrazine exposure is highly correlated (P < 0.009) with low sperm count, poor semen quality, and impaired fertility in humans (43)."

Not even right wing. Just don't take the news at face value. Now I'm not saying he's right, but maybe it's worth having a look about first.

Also not claiming it turns people trans, nor did he in his clip. Just claimed that it could be a contributing factor.

Well now you're just conflating our discussion points. I initially was simply pointing out he's no idiot, so should be able to debate with any expert - contrary to your original assertion.

You've proceeded to directly reply to me about another apparent outlandish claim, which now you appear to be ignoring when directly questioned - distancing yourself from your last statement, are we?

Here is your non idiot spouting idiotic nonsense. When asked how wifi opens the blood brain barrier he can't explain it. People who spout idiotic nonsense are idiots. He deserves to be ridiculed and shown to be the charlatan that he is, not given an easy ride by a gullible comedian.

I'm not the one making extraordinary claims, he is. I'm stating he makes idiotic statements and by definition is an idiot. There is no shortage of evidence to back it up, just watch the man speak. if you believe what he says well what does that say about you?

Oh I wonder if these are like those NHS nurses and a handful of practicing doctors around the world that pushed vaccine false news andshouted the loudest with "evidence' during the pandemic with nurses being threatened with job losses if they didn't buckle up.

Or those researchers who every few years find that an ingredient in shampoo, tea, fizzy drink etc etc has carcinogenic properties under some conditions even though the ingredients are in trace amounts and the human body can and does rebuild damaged cells over time anyway just like it does when you're out in sunlight absorbing UV rays and skin cells regenerate providing you haven't been over exposing beyond reasonable limits etc. All whilst cancer research UK and NHS direct state no cancer risk is posed by the ingredients.

Even some doctors and scientists can be a bit crazy as we've seen the last 3 years.

Somehow some folks magically forget about all this, I wonder why.

Which is an argument  for debate with an expert, no?

You have to remember this guy is an attorney, he throws as much as he can to highlight flaws in narratives, anything which can cast doubt is helpful for his perspective.

I think behind all the "loonacy", all he wants is tighter regulation on environmental pollution and better safety testing of medication.

That's something I do agree is required.

You want this gullible fool to moderate a discussion that would melt his and Kennedy’s brains if the dr got into any details?

Still fighting this corner, yeh? Surely nonsense like that is a good thing, highlighting their flawed arguments etc. I see no reason why it should not happen

Why are you so against it, worried?

People are idiots now, that's the problem.

You still get people defending trump's weird comment about using light in the body to cure COVID for instance, and that is clearly nonsense

Don't agree, people are as dumb as ever.
Its just that the confidence type men who are really village idiots can get a platform now rather than being left in the corner of the village pub.

Remember:
To fool someone you only need to exceed their intelligence.

The old saying rings true. "Do not argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

Like when David Icke went bonkers he basically vanished from the public space and everyone laughed at him. Now he would have a youTube show, and Elon reposting his tweets with "interesting"

It does seem that now two people can watch the same video and have completely different takes on what they just saw/heard though.

As opposed to what you said, everyone laughing at David Icke on Wogan for his ridiculous takes on things.

It's more about psychology than intelligence that people want to believe nonsense.

So, unfortunately, letting falsehoods and unscientific nonsense be propagated is dangerous because no amount of facts or debunking is going to change the minds of people who fall for this stuff.

The biggest case study we have in the UK regarding 'we should allow all views and let people lie, the audience will see the truth' is Brexit.

Not really

Its the same issue I mentioned. People had a chance to hear about Icke before he popped up spouting his views, I remember his last commentary you could hear his co presenter going like WTF and then he was gone.
So the public heard he had lost it. Then Wogan came, people were already aware he had gone proper Russell Brand.

Now the nut jobs can get to the public first before anyone sensible can say "hang on" so they are already fooled, hence the point, you only need to exceed their intelligence. The second point is also crucial, in order to get them to admit their mistake you need to exceed their pride (that they were conned), which for many is far far harder.
So they spread the misinformation rather than laugh at it.

I mention Hancock since he is exactly this. I always fool fall for his stuff when reading/watching. Its only later when I process and watch some experts I realise hes fooled me again.
There could be elements of truth in what he says, by luck, but its basically BS.
Eg I can support there could have been some "more advanced" race pre current human but they were certainly if so, very few, and only advanced in limited areas, certainly far less advanced than we are now.

The program is you have a bunch of idiots talking nonsense and then also a lot of fake news from the media which confuses the situation. Just like when everyone claimed Joe Rogan was taking horse dewormer despite the fact ivermectin has been prescribed to humans for years.

Of course it turned out that it didn't actually help with COVID at all but the mainstream media just make things worse by talking rubbish

Not really,

It’s like getting an expert in radio and mobile communications into a debate about 5G with David Icke.

David Icke just wants to get on the platform for the exposure, his followers won’t even realise or care about the actual arguments or facts.
???

He's already been on the platform. All that's being asked is for someone who's factually knowledgeable to debate his points.

You have to remember this guy is an attorney, he throws as much as he can to highlight flaws in narratives, anything which can cast doubt is helpful for his perspective.

I think behind all the "loonacy", all he wants is tighter regulation on environmental pollution and better safety testing of medication.

Why should they though? If some halfwit is talking nonsense - why should somebody with a reputation have to waste their time getting dragged into a **** flinging contest?

The person in question has been publicly critical of his stated views, was called our for it during that discussion, yet did not reply directly however did publicly draw attention to an article criticising the discussion - that's why they're being asked to come on the show to voice their opinion via debating those viewpoints.
