Joe Rogan and Spotify

It's quite obvious Joe has/had some weird issue with certain types of women - I think he's tamed down a lot, I suppose the public nature of his flaws help self-realisation.

This clip is from 2003 by the way, so literally 20 years ago. Remember you should always trust people who go looking up things someone said 20 years ago as evidence of what a bad person they are today.
Is it from 2003? Did wonder when it was but my quick Google couldnt find the date. Regardless he's no where near as belligerent these days.

He’s 55 years old. So let’s say it was the full 20 years that means he was 35. Are you saying at 35 you aren’t mature and responsible for your speech? If the 87 in your username is your birth year that makes you 35/6 Are you mature Roar? Responsible for your views and speech? Or are you still a child who we shouldn’t take seriously?

Kevin Hart was in his 30's when he made his comments about his son hopefully not growing up to be gay (2010), so by your logic he can't move on, and that's his view forever?

But you have to remember what someone said or did over a decade ago is exactly who they are now, people can't grow or change.
Glad to see you adhere to this.

I think at 16 years old we're responsible for our speech, it just won't reflect what our views and personality will be like 20 years later. Do you even believe what you're typing or are you just making an argument because you dislike someone? Surely you don't actually think something you've said 20 years ago should be dug up and used to attack you today?

Peoples ability to change their views or mask them varies and is practically impossible to predict at an individual level.

I have worked with senior people who when promoted needed some coaching in regards inter personal skills.
I found that they could be good at masking their true feelings better after that coaching, but that when squeezed their natural reactions would come out.

In order to change you need to want to change IMO. Unless you want to change and actively work to change your reactions and thinking your are not going to do so.

Interest article on the BBC where they discuss Meghan Markle's split Spotify, in it they compare her podcast against Jo Rogan's. Rogan is putting out several multi hour podcasts a week with an average audience of 11m an episode whereas Markle has only managed to put 15 podcasts in the last year. This lends weight to the rumour that she was cut because of 'productivity issues', Rogan on the other hand seems to genuinely enjoy doing this stuff.

Markle couldn't even be arsed to sit down and actually interview her guests

Joe does his podcast, stand up comedy, as well as stays on top of everything in MMA for when he commentates UFC events - he now also owns and runs a comedy club in Austin. On top of all that he has multiple black belts and works out every day. Plus he has a wife and 2 kids. The guy is a machine. Probably why so many dossers on here hate him when most can't even make time to go the gym.

Biceps before sidesteps.

We aren't talking about a 16 year old are we. You are still legally a child at 16, even at 18 most are complete idiots. So no I wouldn't judge a 36 year old by what they said when they were 16. However a 35 year old is a fully grown man who has been out in the world for 15+ years. So what someone says then does say a lot about their character. Maybe he's learned to keep that in check as he's got a little older and not vocalise it. Maybe he genuinely has seen the error of his ways and has a complete change of mind on how he talks/thinks about to women. None of us know what is in someone's mind after all. You can't argue that he was young or immature at 35 though.

How is a father son relationship anything like this? If a father can't change his mind or set it aside his bigotry for the love of his own child then he clearly is a ****.

TBH I had to google who Kevin Hart even was. I have no idea about his relationship with his kids and frankly I don't care. I hope he has seen the error of his ways.

I didn't argue that he was young and immature, you made that argument yourself and then decided that was my position. I just said it was 20 years ago and that it doesn't make someone a bad person today.

Could I ask that you actually read the words that I actually type before you hit reply?

Have you watched/listened to any of his podcasts in the past 10 years, he is absolutely not like that at all anymore.

Though his behaviour in that clip was totally uncalled for.
