Joe Rogan and Spotify

Funny enough in a presentation I saw it mentioned the monoclonal antibodies are now offered by the NHS as treatment.

Yes because they work. Ivermectin is a anti parasitic and many studies have been withdrawn because of data manipulation. A US doctor can prescribe a drug because you are paying him to do it.

I'm literally just observing the reality, these aren't well put together self respecting men, like not a single one

Your perception of reality and judging how you seem obsessed with masculinity I'd question that perception. I mean who goes looking at people's profiles to see if they are ****** whipped?

It's 90% guys who dislike Joe Rogan because they're insecure about themselves, why even care about Joe Rogans podcast if you don't watch it? Do you think I give a **** what some leftist podcast is saying? I wouldn't be able to name any for a start

You seem to be implying in the above that by comparison, Rogan is a "rightist podcast"?

I don't think weed smoking Joe Rogan who wanted Bernie Saunders to win the democratic nomination is right wing.

He's definitely a libertarian though.

I don't either but I think that's the perception the left have

Platforms shouldn't be bloody responsible for the people/morons on them.
Its a media streaming service....
Youtube, Facebook all of them should stop sticking their righteous noses in.
We should have left this partisan nonsense behind in the 1990s.
Exactly this. What next? Removal of any audio content that causes offence to someone? The way the world is going it really wouldn't surprise me ..

Fyi you typically listen to podcasts

They are discrediting the use of a de-worming drug to treat COVID, yes. Because COVID isn't a parasitic worm. It is absolutely stupid and deserves the hilarious backlash it received.

Lots of low IQ people listen to Joe Rogan so it is dangerous for him to prescribe drugs.

Ok, hands up any of those wanting to cancel Rogan, or support his removal from Spotify, are susceptible to being convinced by his views on the vaccine?
People saying that people will make their own mind up. Well here is someone that made their mind up because they listened to fake information.

https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2022/jan/30/laurence-fox-has-coronavirus-and-taking-ivermectin
The vaccine sceptic and anti-lockdown campaigner Laurence Fox has said he has coronavirus.

The actor, who finished sixth in last year’s London mayoral elections, tweeted a picture on Sunday of a positive lateral flow test.

Above it, he wrote: “In other news, felt shivery and crap yesterday. Turns out I have been visited by Lord Covid at last and have the Omnicold (if the LFT is to be believed!) On the #Ivermectin, saline nasal rinse, quercetin, paracetamol and ibruprofen. More man flu than Wu-flu at the moment.”

Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic treatment used mainly on animals but which is approved in different doses to treat some parasitic worms in humans. It has not been proved to be effective at preventing or treating Covid, but has been promoted by vaccine-sceptic public figures such as the comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan, who said he used the drug to treat himself when he became sick with Covid, and the Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Fox’s tweet came four days after he posted a picture of himself wearing a T-shirt with a slogan saying, “No vaccine needed, I have an immune system.” In another tweet posted on Sunday, he said he was on day two of the virus.

After a number of people commented in response to Fox’s tweet asking where he had got the ivermectin and why he was taking it, he responded by saying: “Not only do you only have to sign a form saying you feel well to get into Mexico, but you can also buy drugs like Ivermectin over the counter that the vaccinaholics don’t want you to get hold of here. I’m so happy to be joining the natural immunity club. Going to have a nap.”

Not that I have ever used spotify but isn't this an example of virtue signaling? Surely people can listen to information and use critical thinking to make up their minds as to whether it's true or not? I'd rather be given an array of information with some stats / fact rather than people not be able to express opinions and free thought.
But misinformation can make you believe in lies. Meaning you wont have the full facts. You will have fake facts. Its as bad as saying god will provide.

Reading the Guardian article, which again has no links to back up what its saying, the average person would think "oh its just some nutcases taking Ivermectin". They wouldn't imagine that some countries have been handing out Ivermectin at a large scale, India. ( https://indianexpress.com/article/c...ivermectin-helped-to-keep-deaths-low-7311786/ )

I think the conversation brings up a valid question though. Do we want a society catared to the most dumb in society at the expense of the intelligent?

The Guardian, CNN and even the BBC all went with the Ivermectin / Horse de-wormer narrative, so I'd say those leftist media outlets somehow feel threatened by him for some reason.

Imagine sitting at the head of CNN, thousands of people reporting to you, millions of dollars flying around daily and one chap, Jamie and Marshall pull more numbers podcasting in nasa suits talking about dmt. They must be embarrassed……

So if this trial at Oxford University shows that it is effective, then people who read the Guardian and BBC news will be hesitant to take it as it's a horse de-wormer, according to them.

I mean the thing is all this lot before havng covid say their own bodies defences will protect them and no one needs to be taking drugs then as soon as they get it they start taking drugs that have not been proven to help against covid and then act like everyone else is mad. In reality it is just some nutcase taking Ivermectin.

The use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19 is currently being investigated in a UK trial run by the University of Oxford. The researchers said on Monday that it was still under way and they did not want to comment further until they have results to report. read more

Many potential COVID-19 treatments that showed promise in test tubes, including the antimalarial hydroxychloroquine promoted by former U.S. President Donald Trump, ultimately failed to show benefit for COVID-19 patients once studied in clinical trials.
