yes I would if I directed it towards another member, the fact that I wrote it out I imagine would be taken into context.
in what context did Terry claim it was in, a friendly bit of interracial banter?
is it a friendly greeting in his country?
He claims that he was accused of saying that to Ferdinand so he said, "I didn't call you a ****ing black ****" in response.
You say that as if Terry wasn't hated before this
What is the excuse? I haven't been able to find anything.

I agree with this. He was simply calling him a black please fully mask all swearing - Gilly. I really don't think he mean't it in a racist way as silly as that sounds. If Ferdinand had called Terry a white *******, no one would take any notice of it and terry would most probably have laughed it off.
BTW, i hate John Terry and Chelsea, but I find it all a bit silly
As above, he claims that Ferdidnand or somebody accused him on the pitch of saying it so he responded by saying "I didn't call you a ......".

He doesn't mention word for word what he said but in his statement immediately after the incident he says:

I think the point is is that video evidence is irrelevant unless you see the whole video, not just the works "...you black ***". Clearly I could be recorded by someone as I discuss the fact that JT has lost his captaincy because he's allegedly called someone a "...black ****" and bingo - suddenly there's video evidence of me being racist.
That said, I still stand by the fact that if that if the above scenario were to happen, then I would expect to be suspended whilst investigations were completed.
In JT's case then this would be him not playing football at all, let alone just losing his arm band (which he should never have had in the first place IMO).
Will be interesting to see if he still goes to the Euro's now.

Totally agree, but surely there some one, who hasn't cheated on their wife, failed to provide a drugs test, and been to court for fighting, or going with dirty old grannies

The FA should set up a circus and tour eastern europe during the summer.
If he did say what anton has claimed then he deserves a decent ban (4 games according to the FA racism calculator in the suzrez case) but the puritanical view of the FA is really starting to itch.
