John Terry... you rat!

I heard something about Blatter, saying that basically this wasn't such a big deal in his opinion but the English media being complete willys and going nuts over this is what made it in to a big deal. (which I agree with)

I'm sure I heard somewhere mentioned that the English media are the only media that are so obbsessed with players off the pitch, South America was the place it was compared to.

South American football is ****ing brilliant to watch, some right nutters on and off the pitch :D

"South America, where defending is optional"

This has probably done the rounds a few times already but a friend sent me this in an email yesterday, figured I may as well share even though it is probably all false...

A mate sent me this as it got forwarded from someone they know who works at The Sun!!

The Sun is one of our clients and have sent us a round up of the current John Terry rumours which will make the paper over the next few weeks:

1. The Sun have lined up another EIGHT women who've slept with him in the last 18 months or so. Enough for a couple of weeks of front pages. Including FHMs own HSH, Tanya Robinson (http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/10_04/TanyaRobinsonTR_468x720.jpg)
2. The front page today that Bridges ex, Vanessa, has slept with five members of the Chelsea squad is only the beginning. Two other Chelsea players - Gudjonsen and Drogba - were also sleeping with Bridge's girlfriend at the same time as Terry.
3. The Sun is also paying Vanessa 250k to dish everything including the fact that the mystery fifth Chelsea player is, depressingly predictably, Ashley Cole. Which should give Cheryl the excuse she needs to finally dump him (now shes no longer Racist Toilet Cleaner Puncher, but the new Nations Sweetheart)
4. JT has also been sleeping with current team mate Hilario's wife (who also has kids).
5. Away from the bedroom, JT also owes Wembley a substantial amount of money for a box he owns and hasn't paid for, even after he had mates in there racking up a 20k bill at the FA Cup final.

I don't realy follow football, i watch england and that's about it.

I think it's pathetic all this media hype, and loosing england cap. I don't give a flying $%^£ what players do off the pitch (Or outside work, whatever)

What he has done is terrible, and i feel sorry for his wife, but thats between him and his wife.... Nobody else should be involved, including media and deffo not football managers

You do now he's sleeping with other footballers wives? Unfortunately it means the team/manager have to be involved since JT has already done that for them by sleeping with their wives

Are the rich footballers not able to sort problems out on there own? Im pretty sure if someone at work slept with my soon to be wife he wouldn't be demoted or have something taken away from him.

It's a joke, they are grown men. I also thought the woman was split from her husband?

If only life was that easy. If your boss slept with your wife you'd be fine to see him and work together and take orders from him? I'd probably never want to see either again.

Does it matter who your wife sleeps with? If it wasn't him it would be someone else (And there was a few other anyway) at the end of the day she's a $£^&.

They will still have to play on the pitch with each other, and im sure terry having the captain taken away from him wont make bridge feel any better about it.

And if my boss slept with my wife i would be angry, obviously i would. But i would be more angry at my wife. And if i didn't want to work with my boss anymore it would be ME that left. My boss wouldn't get demoted would he

Of course it matters who she slept with  especially if it's one of your best mates (or so Bridge thought).

Football isn't a regular job and being a captain brings responsibility and respect, things that John Terry doesn't have himself or show to others.

He aint the captain off the pitch tho. He does his job on it, thats all that should matter.

a lot of the player might loose respect for him as a person, but i bet they would still repect him as a FOOTBALL captain

Do you know much about football? Being a captain very much extends off the football field :s

Just saw this, don't worry.

I don't realy follow football, i watch england and that's about it.

And they do what exactly off the field that relates to being captain? And does whatever it is have an effect with what hes done? i dont think so

You don't think being a cheating rat undermines the faith and confidence others have in you as a captain? Some of the other England players spoke of their dissatisfaction of the whole affair with Fabio Capello and they were a significant factor in his decision to strip the captaincy off Terry.

Others' personal views of the captain is a major factor in the job. You are naive if you don't think so.

My very close friend has some interesting pictures involving this sotry and Ashley cole and cheeting wives, something tells me it will be in the News of the world ;) Getting some serious money for some pictures he took.

Very brief example as I'm a bit busy, but yesterday a friend of mine took the Sheffield Wednesday manager and captain around the local children's hospital. They are expected to do a lot of charity work and general work in the community and with children etc.

The club captain is an ambassador off the pitch, he is the club. He needs to represent them off the pitch.

He will be a role model for all the little children at the club, he will have the responsibility of that.

If he is sleeping with other players partners, it can/will cause a rift in the dressing room, affecting them on the pitch.

If he is taking money on the side, he is putting the clubs reputuation to shame.

If he is making the headlines for the wrong reasons he is being a bad role model.

So yes, what a captain (terry or anyone else) gets up to off the pitch affects him on the pitch, affects the club and can put his captaincy under risk, as England showed.

Sheffield Wednesday are sponsered by the Childrens hospital, there is always pictures of them visiting on the website ect ect

*pops head in*

Rio Ferdinand apparently does large amounts of charity work.
