It's a shame that Pete Postlethwaite passed away, this movie would benefit by having Roland Tembo on the hunt.
Velociraptors were the size of terriers and they were covered in feathers.

Well not really, supposedly the park has been established for 10 years, so I fail to see how it's a reboot.
Have a look around at some of the comments by Sam Neill who said its essentially a reboot or a "re-jig" of the franchise. The fact there's not a single character in it from any of the previous movies seems to reinforce that. Apparently one of the only things that links it to the previous movies is the name of the island and a statue of John Hammond and that's it.
There's also the fact that they're obviously back to the cloning dinosaurs routine again as seen in the trailer, so its essentially doing an origin story for itself so it can stand alone from the previous movies.
I'd like to see them tackle the cloning in a way that mirrors ethical issues we have with it in science today - make it into something with more of a deeper, mature undertone.

Ethical issue? Deeper, mature undertone?
You do realise that the movie is intended to entertain and make money right? That kind of plot would hardly stick bums on seats in the cinema and certainly won't get the kids excited.
I agree it looks terrible but I also don't want a 2hr Nat Geo documentary about ethical issues.
