Just been insulted by local art shop owner.

So tempted to spam his FB, if it went down exactly as you said? Just horrendous. I would not know what to do/or not for the best.

Did you reply anything to him, or simply "trot on"? Sorry if this rubs salt in the wound.
 
Why didn't you rip him a new one there and then? Pointless going back tomorrow as the moment is over, your opportunity was there and then to make him look like the obviously small man he is.
 
The guy done you a favour. The art looks as nasty as Athena unicorn posters.

I guess if you were serious then you'd have a good idea what price is expected.
 
I suggest emailing the artist to tell them their art is being represented by that arrogant Arse. Hopefully they'd take action as they wouldn't want their reputation to be stained by his actions.
 
1) Hire tramps, random youths etc, to cause criminal damage to the shop, and his home.

2) Order him takeaways, taxi's to his house from every possible place near him, or space it out, troll him online and etc etc.

3) Find chav mother with young girl, pay the mother money to go into the shop during the day and make a massive scene about how he is a pedophile. Be sure to pay someone to call the police and report a disturbance so they can witness this scene.

Pick one or all.
 
You should have just laughed and said 'Well you obviously don't know who I am then' and then walked out, that would have gave him something to think about :)

There seems to be a bit too much pent up aggression from some posters... The owner was a bit rude to a customer asking about a painting, a funny thing to do might be to send some friends in to ask about the same painting in order to wind the owner up a bit.... Actually trying to actively damage his business/cause him financial loss just seems a bit uncalled for - I also doubt whether the posters suggesting such things would actually follow through with them themselves.... seems a bit more keyboard warrior fantasy stuff:

I assume the poeple getting annoyed with the revenge ideas don't realise it's a joke. Everyone is an invincible hero on t'internet.

How exactly?
The shop owner is likely to tell him to do one and the artist will probably shrug his shoulders anyway.
It would be different if the shop was the only outlet for his work.
 
It must be an awful life for him, flogging complete tat to tourists looking for some token coastline art to take back home to Scunthorpe
