Just been insulted by local art shop owner.

So looked up said artist as I do enjoy fantasy art myself.

Not realy impressed, most of its very uninspired... looks like a lot has been painted just to be painted...

He said that over a piece of art that is worth relatively little?

Owner or not, his business will suffer if he has that attitude with everyone.

I've never seen the OcUK forums as bad as this. So many of the responses it's like watching a mob of juveniles. Seriously, faeces? Despair.

We're supposed to be civilised.

lol, I think if this happened in Glasgow, yeah, that shops windows would have been smashed in by now.

pfffftt

it sounds like that guy woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something.

They have art galleries in Glasgow? You do know the posters section of HMV doesn't count as "art" right? :D

wow they are hideous.

it looks like early 90s american websites. All they need are a midi file playing in the background.

This to be frank,

As for the art shop owner, if I had the time and inclination I would make his life a living hell. Go to as many papers as possible, spread it on twitter, FB and Trip Advisor and anywhere else you can think of until he shuts down and out of business.

Then on the last day of his closing down sale go up to the counter and slam down the money in cash and ask "How much for it now?" and when he's begging for you to take it, grab the money of the counter and walk away saying, "Should have sold to me when you had the chance instead of being a snobbish ****"

Sounds like someone was having a bad day, quite how insulting a customer is going to improve that I don't know.

The owner is obviously a complete and utter ****.

Saying that, i'd say he's done you a favour as Josephine Wall art looks utter garbage.

Not legal I'd imagine, and not warranted either. Sure the owner was a **** to the OP, who knows maybe he was just robbed the other week or had an appalling day (no excuse to treat the OP like he did, but it happens) but this goes beyond bitching, and into the realms of pure maliciousness.
