Is it safe to give blood and then drive home? I'm 18.
They take it.what happens when you give blood?
Never gave blood in my life and to be honest It's probably not good to anyone anyway. I'm on a few tablets for my bipolar, epilepsy and high cholesterol. The cholesterol thing is to do with other tablets i'm on so says the doctor, but when and if I get off the tabs I'll consider giving blood.
Nope. Think it is odd...

I drove home after today. Driving wasn't mentioned in any of the booklets, or from any of the staff there, so I assume it's fine.
Obviously take it as you feel though.
Yes, it's fine. Sometimes people can be a bit light headed so if you want to be extra sure make sure you stay for your free drink and biscuit/cake after. If it's the first time you have given blood you are better with a cold drink rather than a hot oneIs it safe to give blood and then drive home? I'm 18.
