SAS don't drive anywhere... they simply teleport to their destination

It only appears that way, but they can't really teleport. What they do is run up the outside of a convenient tall building and run at speeds of up to 100mph, leaping from rooftop to rooftop across the streets, hundreds of feet above your head. You can't see them in transit, so it looks like they teleport. They do complex maneouvers in midair, of course, as they are Superbly Acrobatic Soldiers.

Most people in the forces have been on exercise with the SAS... (Or rather, the SAS have been on exercise with them).

In combat zones they dress pretty much like any soldier, the only way you could distinguish them from anyone else would be down to the weapons they use. For starters they do not use the SA80 that all other UK soldiers use as its crap. The M4/M16 variants are the preferred battlefield weapon with the MP5 used for CQB.

The SAS don't use the L85 series for a couple of reasons:
1: They need an ambidextrous and the L85 isn't
2: The A1 version was unreliable by all accounts

It's be documented that SAS and SBS are using Diemaco C8 and its replacing the Colt M16

And by all accounts the SAS have given the role of CTU to the SRS

All of about is true althought I can't confirm the source about handing over the CTU
