"Just stop oil"

Some people in this thread need to get laid.
Like this? :p

What is it about them that elicits that reaction though? I'm a very chill person too and it would take a lot for me to physically react to something that doesn't have any effect on my person. I can understand pushing them out the way or ripping up their banners, to lamp him and then continue while the guy is on the ground... how is that justified considering how inoffensive their form of protesting is.

Not sure I'd call the way some of them are intentionally disruptive beyond just making a point in some cases blocking emergency services, etc. inoffensive, in some cases they've been passive aggressive as well.

I don't understand these protestors. We're doing it. Investment in renewables is increasing, petrol cars are in the process of being phased out. We're being taxed up to the eyeballs for green initiatives. All they are doing is annoy normal people. They need to crash government events or close Downing Street (but that will never happen). I'm sure their Adidas trainers and high viz jackets were all woven from local hemp, and that they walked to the protests from Muswell Hill

just stop oil are the same people who religiously followed the covid models without any questions. Ive had a few old documentrys playing as I recover from a motorbike accident. I have been in and out of sleep with "Earth Story With Aubrey Manning" the last couple of nights. This is a quality series. No catastrophising as Discovery chanel do. He talks about the polar ice caps "waxing and waning" over tens of millennia. He spoke about volcanic erruptions (deccan traps) that lasted tens of thousands of years and were probably the major factor in the mass extinction of dino but we think the 200 years of industrialisation have irreversibly finished the planet. The hubris of man is staggering. Painkillers and rum so please dont pick me up on many mistake.

Sorry to hear about the accident. What happened? How bad are the injuries. I've been there myself.

Are the police arresting people who hit JSO with their cars or fists? I know there was a case a while back but I haven’t heard of anything recently.

The disruption is definitely being allowed to bring-in tighter protest controls in the future. Public perception of Just Stop Oil doesn't seem great at all.
Yes, people are aware of what you are doing and why you are doing it. Shooting yourself in the foot (if they actually believed in the cause) when the public want to see you go under the wheels.

one of the comments 'Dude ripped his jacket off like he's ready to fight while actively running away lmfao'

wtf? :p
it's like he was attached to a bungie rope that pulled him back

also the manic woman, "have you seen what you've done ?" looks like driver error, did the Merc try to cut off the van or something ?

Whole thing seems kind of staged which is odd and no proper video from the moments before the crash.
