Same for me. Disappointing if this isn’t available in uhd. Will watch anyway

I had an issue where whenever I tried to load it up earlier it would keep showing a Christmas film called The Family stone! Will try and watch a bit later

Was hoping to get the full UHD/Atmos thing but oh well

Really looking forward to this. Will have to steal the TV for the afternoon as I doubt the missus will want to watch 4 hours of wonder womans bum.

About half way through it, a massive improvement over the crap Whedon put out. His edit really looks like it was sellotaped together and kicked out the door with so much stuff not in it.

Having some right old HBO Max streaming issues trying to watch it over NordVPN whilst I'm out here in Saudi! At this rate I'll just let it buffer overnight and watch it early tomorrow before the locals wake-up and the contention ratio gets too high.

i'm not sure i fully understand the decision to make this cut effectively 4:3... my brain is so used to widescreen that 4:3 doesn't feel normal anymore...

If you have scaling options you can fill yout 16:9/21:9 etc no probs.

But then you'd be cropping off a lot of the image.

I'll always watch in native scale if it comes to it, it's just it's so outside the normal to see stuff that isn't widescreen these days which is more what i was referring too. I'll just make the room pitch black when i watch it and i won't notice the black bars either side :D

Am I being dim? It says better in UHD, so I try and download the UHD version and it only gives me a option of SD or HD and neither have Atmos support.

Working fine for me 31.1gb in UHD, but does say enhanced for UHD. Says atmos but only doing 5.1.

Did you go sky cinema, then into Ultra UHD and try grab it that way?

How much is actually cropped off the top and bottom areas though? From past experience (not watched this yet) with IMAX releases like Batman, the sections that are in IMAX contain little useful stuff on screen in those areas so when forced to 21:9 I've not missed much at all to lose immersion that is otherwise gained from the full cinematic aspect ratio.

Fair enough I will be watching the UHD version tonight so will see what it's all about!

Might hold off on the download and see what happens.

Looks like there's been issues:

Was under the impression the HDR dolby atmos version would come to Sky.

Will see if it's added tomorrow evening as that's when I plan to watch it, but going on the below probably won't be.

"Sky have to completely re-encode the movie - they are showing it sped up from 24fps to 25fps (hence the shorter running time) and need to create a HLG version from the Dolby Vision or HDR10 master. The audio also has to be pitch-shifted due to the speed increase, so that it doesn't sound squeaky. All this takes time.

The HBO Max Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos version looks and sounds good... I'll take a look at Sky's effort later."

Enjoyable and very much different to Joss and his take. Makes me want a proper cyborg movie, a flash movie and Affleck to continue as Batman.

It makes the whedon version looks like a crap attempt by a first year movie student. Literally night and day between the 2 movies, snyder version is vastly superior.
