Katie Hopkins Sacked

I said nothing of the sort, don't be absurd.

FTFY.
It is ok to have white hate written all over Twitter, it is ok to cause riots or destroy property or historical property.

Lewis Hamilton Has more black privilege than a white working class male.

The Queen has more white privilege than a middle class woman.
A black basketball player has more black privilege than a white basketball player.

I hope you can see were I am going, there is no such thing as black, brown white etc..., privilege, privilege comes from wealth or the ability to make people wealthy.

I utterly despise Katie Hopkins, she's basically the Tory version of Dianne Abbott.

That being said I think she should have a platform to speak on so we can see her for what she is.

Does she not have a personal website?

Just as a matter of interest since I don't know; can you say which of the "Sunday Times Rich List 2020" (LINK) are Black and privileged?

What you've done is show us a list of some of the highest tax payers in the country, you should be thanking them for their contribution instead of looking at them with envy.

Are they? You sure they are the highest tax payers? A lot of the wealthiest pay some of the lowest taxes in this country.

Dyson and Ratcliffe pay their fair share, the rest dont even make it to the top 50 UK tax payers. Bearing in mind you need to pay £12m or more in tax to hit that list thats an awful lot of billionaires in the times top 20 who pay a pittance or no tax in the UK/

or she can just join stormfront where she belongs..........

well I think it’s quite insteresting that since she went there 13 Tory MPs have also joined the service. Plus KH has posted that Trump is leaving twitter to go join there as he is not respected on twitter.

What, like the High taxpayers the Barclay Brothers?
I'm sure that the various Russian oligarchs pay 40% tax.
There is not one person in that list who doesn't pay a lot of money to avoid paying tax.
You really don't have a clue do you?

I suggest that you take out a year's subscription to Private Eye and spend some time every fortnight reading it rather than just studying the cartoons

I'm not just talking about their individual tax contributions from their personal earnings. Take into account the corporation tax their companies pay, the income tax their employees pay, VAT people pay when they buy their products, etc, etc. When you add up all the economic activity billionaires create and then look at the tax revenue generated from that directly and even indirectly, it's a lot of money. People like stockhausen just look at their net worth and think it they don't need that much money so we should be able to take it.

That smacks of the same excuse made for corporations like Amazon - "think of all the jobs they create and hoe much they bring to local economy so we should be grateful and not be bothered by the fact that they dont pay any tax"

Nope sorry, that doesnt wash with me.

It doesn't have to wash with you, these people and the companies they operate create vast amounts of economic activity; they create jobs, products and services. If they aren't paying enough tax money then it's the job of the British government to create the laws accordingly, because they are operating within the law. The reason they aren't forced to pay more tax is because 5% of £50bn is a bigger amount than 10% of £20bn, i.e. international companies will always set themselves up to pay the minimum amount of tax to remain competitive. Look at the economy as a whole rather than just looking at how much money the richest people have, the UK has one of the largest economies in the world.

I agree

Think how much better funded the country would be if everyone paid the taxes they should, not just "Well they sell stuff that has VAT on it, so the government still make money"

https://www.theguardian.com/busines...ems-amazon-worst-for-aggressive-tax-avoidance

Yes it would be lovely if Corporations willingly paid the UK government lots of money, they would how ever have less money to put into R&D of new products, to put into creating jobs and opening new offices, to put into things like marketing which drive more sales and create more jobs, to put into their logistics systems, to pay share holders which then give them more money to invest, etc. It's not like there's no cost involved to paying £100bn in tax. All that money so the UK government can then go and spend it inefficiently as all governments do, paying some council workers ridiculously generous pension for doing a bad job for 40 years, or give it to the NHS to fund their latest IT project, or HS2. Yes let's take all Amazon's money and give it to the government. Good idea guys.

I can see why people thought her ban from twitter may be harsh.
But who is donating money to her? She literally offers nothing to this world apart from her useless opinion.
