I can never quite understand why anyone gets extremely angry about being called any name. People are free to call me any name under the sun, I dont lose any sleep over it.
I like Piers as he tends to say what a lot of people are thinking and the fact that Meghan was so quick to make a complaint reaffirms my belief that she's ready to kick off when something don't go her way or doesn't like anyone else's view points.

He was told to apologise and didn't want to so resigned out of principle.

Did the Duchess of Sussex make some complaint about Piers Morgan?
I was rather under the impression that it was one or more Mental Health Charities, tens of thousands of ITV viewers and probably ITV Management?
I suspect that "a lot of people" are, like Piers Morgan and Jeremy Kyle, actually somewhat "unthinking" - Morgan's and Kyle's entire modus operandi is to be gratuitously provocative and offensive.
Indeed seems he couldn't take a couple of minutes of someone putting across a different opinion to his own. How many people are angered by people responding to them online on something as simple as a facebook update. Imagine waking up to a story in the papers and all over the internet. None of us could cope with that but we expect all the people in the spotlight to just roll with it. There's always a real person on the end of these headlines.
If she has complained then that's an abuse of power.
You realise Piers was basically paying the guys wages who was ******** on him? 80%+ of the shows viewers watched because of Piers Morgan, criticising public figures is different from criticising your actual work colleague on live TV lmao. Honestly people are brain dead.
Do you think the same about other racist insults, when used explicitly as insults? "gammon" is almost always deliberately sexist and ageist too.

gammon is interesting, as it's insulting someone around the area of their skin colour. Pretty hot topic really, but it's used pretty regular to the point it's "ok".
No doubt the producers were creaming on him when he was slating trump or Boris Johnson yet when it comes to criticising Meghan then now he must get down on his knees and beg forgiveness.
I'd liked to have seen him do the interview with Meghan and Harry as we might have actually got some proper content when put on the spot rather than the wishy washy exercise in self publicity we got from The Oprah interview.

So one poster thinks the audience is woke and another thinks 80%+ tune in for Piers Morgan?
And I mean the first point would be fairly easy to prove, as you would expect GMB ratings to drop by 80% now, right?
You already know the answer to that, but there'll be an excuse as to why one should matter and not the other. Have you checked your privilege recently?

It wasn't a correct point of view though, Alex wouldn't have it that Archie wasn't called a Prince because of Royal protocol, Alex kept insisting it was all to do with racism no matter how many times Piers (and Susanna) told him.
Alex then went on to call Piers diabolical and Piers stormed out.
Alex wanted to turn every part of the Meghan interview into racism because he is mixed race and could only see that side of it, he was pathetic to be honest.
The bit about mental health issues wasn't Piers saying she was lying, it was that she claimed she couldn't get help when her husband has history of it and is also closely linked with mental health charities.
Apparently she's made a formal complaint to ITV.
Few people are that mad about being called a 'gammon' it's the double standards of using it as an explicitly racist pejorative that raises eyebrows.
