Keeping up with the Markles

So one poster thinks the audience is woke and another thinks 80%+ tune in for Piers Morgan?

And I mean the first point would be fairly easy to prove, as you would expect GMB ratings to drop by 80% now, right?

I mean they will, not on day one though right? You wouldn't QUITE OBVIOUSLY expect that, right?

Maybe they've lined up Meghan Markle to replace Piers.

They thought she was calling to complain as usual but she was really just seeing if they had any jobs going.

So bevause he works for the sane company the other person has to agree with him?

I thought piers was advocating freedom of speach.

No, obviously you don't have to agree, but you don't launch some scathing criticism of your fellow presenter who is literally paying your wages, perfectly fine to criticise but do it respectfully or the guy might decide to just leave and take a higher paid job else where. Then you'll wonder why you aren't on TV in 6 months and he is.

used to emphasize what you are saying:
He missed that kick literally by miles.
I was literally bowled over by the news.

You literally have no way of knowing the real reason that the child wasn't going to be made a prince.

Sure there are guidelines, but are you telling me that queenie doesnt have the power to make him a Prince or not?

Knowing that the next in line is Charles and then William, if either of these two take the throne then the guidelines suggest he will be made a prince so why not cut to the chase and do it right away?

Until Meghan Markle says exactly who said what and in what context it was used her comments about race are just speculation.

What did you find disrespectful about the commentary?

Also are you arguing that even if your colleague is in the wrong, you shouldn't criticise them (in a disrespectful manner) because you might lose your job/some of your salary?

Well, funnily enough, the Queen generally adheres to the actual protocol. You'll notice this quite a bit, they don't tend to just do things arbitrarily because it might seem like a nice thing to do, they tend to rigidly stick to the rules even if they might personally not like them.

He said "Piers spouts off on a regular basis and we all have to sit here and listen" - ??? He's your fellow presenter, people tune in to watch him, and you're saying "we all have to sit here and listen", how isn't that disrespectful? It's actually his job to speak remember, he isn't paid to sit and look pretty.

i could imagine Charles, Will and Hazer in a tea room in the Palace, giggling and wise cracking then Charles goes off one "good grief, you finally got to be a dad and be responsible for once in your life. What do you reckon the baby come out dark chocolate or milk chocolate?"

has he got form in that arena? or is it the Duke of Edinburgh?

I'm no fan of the royals by any stretch, but its pretty sad to see the amount of people ready to throw them under the bus for an alleged comment by an unknown individual devoid of context. I almost feel sorry for them.

By making an allegation but not revealing who it concerned and not giving context it instead it paints them all as racist with no way to defend it. A very cleaver way to try and destroy the monarchy.

Out of interest did you watch the segment or any clips from the show when they 'clashed'?

@Colonel_Klinck I don't disagree with your point but this current younger generation are pretty poisonous in their beliefs. It's not "free love and let me screw who I want". It's "shut the hell up your words are evil".

This generation is the social media generation. There was no internet when I was a kid. I got a mobile phone for work in 1991 and it was a brick. I wouldn't judge them too harshly as they are the first generation to have to deal with this. Of course they are different, the world and the way we interact with it are very different. Doesn't mean I don't think lots of them are ******* idiots but I know lots of adults who thought that about me. I'm sure there are a few that still do lol.
