Keeping up with the Markles

Chacun à son goût, but in passé London vernacular, I think that she’s a “right sort”, and personally I feel that either you’ve been spoilt for choice in the female companion department, or that you may benefit from a visit to SpecSavers.

I have to concur, her personality notwithstanding, I think she's really hot. Or was, she got a bit fat recently due to being up the duff.

EDIT: oh, I thought we were talking about Meghan.

She just doesn't do it for me and in comparison to Meghan. I'd pick Meghan every day of the week and twice on Sunday over her.

Edit: Decided to google her to see if it's just the video she looked a bit naff in. It's further cemented my opinion that she is nothing special and very unremarkable.

She looks like Eddie Izzard!

Why? He started dating his current wife while he was still married to his first wife so its no like he doesnt have a track record there.

These posts are so incredibly stupid, you don't even believe what you're posting and you're just throwing out a dumb strawman because you've found another target for your hate

Roar does seem to like characters like Morgan. He's a big Trump fan and that bloke is as big a ***** as you are ever likely to meet.

Don't address me in the third person, what you seem to like is taking some moral high ground so you can spew hate at another person you've decided to demonise based on their views. Why is it not plausible that Meghan is simply lying? Maybe she is, maybe she isn't, but it's not at all plausible?

It was you he made the crass claim

He's married what on earth are you both talking about, he clearly at no point thought it was a date hahaha

Once you know he had an affair in his first marriage and thats how he met his current wife, it suddenly doesn't seem that far fetched that he would go on a date with MM.

There is no "strawman" there. Or hate. You just seem to be posting nothingness because you didnt realise he was a man who is quite happy to have affairs.

Where have I said it was implausible? She and Harry might be lying. That isn't my point. My point is that the press and particularly Morgan have been on their case for years. It's clear as day that this is personal for him. If I had to believe them or Piers Morgan its no contest. He is a lying **** that makes up stories, played his part in phone hacks and destroyed lives without batting an eyelid. Tabloid journalists are one of the lowest forms of human life. So the fact he had his feelings hurt and decided to get his revenge gets zero sympathy from me.

As for "taking some moral high ground so you can spew hate at another person you've decided to demonise based on their views". I don't hate Trump for his views. I see him for the narcissistic sociopath he is. I find it best not to trust such people as they are by their very nature not good people. I think history has and will continue to prove those that share my opinion on him are right. Unless you think I am demonising you for your views? I'm not but you do seem to like to defend such characters, its not that you are like this with everyone though, as you were pushing the Biden nonce narrative last year. while making all kinds of excuses for Trump regarding his 20+ sexual assault and rape accusations. You are free to your opinions, I am free to mine. I'm not defending such characters though, when I am I'm sure you will point it out to me.

Oh there is going to be war in the Royal Family.

Will (most likely the person said the comments) has responded.

popcorn time people.

This is CROWN live from Buckingham Palace.

:confused::confused::confused:

Who outside the family knows who it was and who cares? I personally hope the kid is as black as the ace of spades, that'll really set the cat among the pigeons. Whatever will the world do then?

As he departed a school in Stratford alongside his wife the Duchess of Cambridge on Thursday, Prince William was asked by a reporter: "Is the royal family a racist family, sir?"

The duke replied: "We're very much not a racist family."

Asked whether he had spoken to Prince Harry since the Oprah interview, Prince William said: "No, I haven't spoken to him yet but I will do."

Really. You call that drama.

He certainly has delusions of grandeur but that is reaching a bit :D

People in the media have a history of flirting (and more) with the unsuitable and risque.

Andrew Neil and the scandalous "Westminster researcher" Pamella Bordes in 1988 at the London Ritz.

It wasn't until 2015 that Old Brillo was brought to heel and he first married. He chose the beautiful Swedish, and two decades his junior, Susan Nilsson. The top London night spots must miss him, he sure spent a lot of time in them... He may well be coming to breakfast time TV very soon. For the MM lovers I am afraid he too is something less than a fawning fan.

I must be missing my pub quizzes to recall all this.... ;)

It's an utterly futile question. What did anyone expect him to say.

"Is the royal family a racist family, sir?"
"Well, not entirely. I don't mind the Chinese or the Latin types, but the darkies, well, they're another matter. We tried to keep them out of our Aryan set but Harry the colonialist had other ideas. Now we don't know what to do. Our gene pool's up the spout and no mistake. Oh, and the Jews. We don't like the Jews, you can put that in your article too, I should coco."

It is when you don't have any proof of such a conversation taking place or the context and tone of what might have been said

Isn't that an allegation? Surely labelling an allegation as "playing the race card" is an act of prejudice, because as you rightly point out we have no way of knowing until it is either admitted or proven one way or the other. Your appetite for evidence appears to be a bit one sided.

It's an example of the very prejudice that they've complained about.

its pretty dramatic mate. The Royal faimly doesnt say anything usually. For the queen to put out a statement after the interview and for Will to directly respond to it, that's like high drama.

I am no Royalist, I think the whole family should be abdicated and UK should be a republic. But this beats the Crown TV series, all the tabloids with their "insider" stories etc, this will be in the news cycle for a long time to come.

People like me who dont normally care if anyone from the royal family dies or lives, now just want to see the next episode :D

Not sure why you're even mentioning Trump, he left office months ago, and he was never my hill to die on as I don't particularly take massive interest in American politics. What I did find interesting is people like you who have this weird hatred and obsession for him, like when I found a member on here's Twitter account under the same alias and they'd be Tweeting @ Trump that him and his family should rot, this type of behaviour is absolutely insane, I think a lot of the behaviour towards Trump is insane. There are millions of people worse than Trump, Trump didn't point a gun at a pregnant womans stomach like Saint George Floyd for example. Some of you are an absolute joke and and completely devoid of any objectivity or critical thinking, it's like talking to zombies.

Its exactly that. The type of prejudice that you can't actually prove and only have your "feelings" to back up your view. The sort that is massively prevalent at the moment. The sort that seems to be completely OK and taken as gospel truth by many.

Accusing someone of racism is horrible. If someone is being racist then that is horrible behaviour on their part and if someone is claiming racism where there is none then that is horrible too.

The problem is that when you do encounter genuine racism, it becomes very hard to not see every slight, every person who mistreats you or doesn't behave the way you want as being a racist. The last few years has just made that 10x harder because its now completely OK to label someone as a racist and bigot with zero evidence other than your own decision that someones actions were racist.

We could point at any number of white, british women that have had far worse treatment by the DM as proof that they are just a scummy newspaper but that still wouldn't satisfy people. We could point out that no one treats everyone the same because we simply like some people more than others and that isn't related to race in most cases but again, people wouldn't care.

Anyone who dares question whether something was racist is accused of racism themselves or downplaying it or enabling it to continue etc etc.

Who was that then?

Bearing in mind that there's some right loons on here and tarring everyone with the same brush ("You lot") doesn't help the situation

It's a Speakers Corner regular and I'm not mentioning names but I have done before, he deleted his Twitter account after I pointed it out in SC. It wasn't anyone I've seen post in this thread in the last few pages I don't think.

That would require me to buy into the narrative that the term 'gammon' is any of those things.

It's an insult specifically and explicitly created for and aimed solely at "white" people, which makes it inherently racist. As racist as any other word created explicitly to be a race-specific insult.

It was created to be aimed at men and almost always is, which makes it sexist in practice.

It was created to be aimed at men over a certain age and almost always is, which makes it ageist in practice.

You might not be bothered by those aspects of it, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

But The Guardian [Owen Jones] says it's not racist!
