Kerbal Space Program

More or less.
It's good watching a Scott Manley video about the Nava ball and basic orbital mechanics. Other than that, just play.
It seems hard. But you will progress and you will look back and go how the hell did I find orbit so difficult. As it is so darn easy, but we were all there. It's odd, you find each part hard whilst learning, then find it very simple once you've done it a few times.

Obtaining orbit is about getting out the soupy atmosphere asap, whilst banking over and getting horizontal speed. It's the horizontal speed that gets you into orbit.

Yeah it is all about that gravity turn! Helps a lot, going straight up and then trying to strecht out an orbit at apo over about 80k is so fuel intensive.. Also trying to get over the pole from an equitorial orbit, too much fuel, just make the gravity turn north instead... :D

WANT WANT WANT!

Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to this. Completed the tech tree so many times it has lost its fun now. Having a new element will make things interesting again.

Ooh, just in time for my new PC with a processor which might actually cope with with big ships! Is there a rough release date for it, or are Squad being their usual tight-lipped selves?

ohh man, gonna have to get a reinstall done ready for this, somethings going around breaking games on me and kerbals fell victim.

should be a great addition to career mode, found it hard to play with no objectives to follow.

Seanoog has actually hinted at an impending release for once so my guess is a week or so!

He usually keeps to the NDA strictly so it must be near

64bit :D

The added contract stuff will probably persuade me to have another play through career mode. Especially now there is benefit in getting a clean landing and such!

Can't wait for the new update! Just restarted career mode, but I'll restart again when it's out.

I've managed to get a science vehicle up onto Minmun, and I've got plenty of fuel to get home too. My question is should I send the data I have now, as I can re-use it, and keep sending till it runs out of science to give me... or should I take it all home? Or should I send once and then take it home? Want to get the most science from this :)

I simply cannot wait.

For the last couple of months I've mostly just been fooling around – last week my entire week was taken up designing transport aircraft with parachute deployed jeeps!

I plan to do a fresh install and get down to business with campaign mode.

Yes this is going to be awesome :D Having watched Mr Manley's video on how it works - it looks like it will be a great implementation of cash based missions - can't wait.

Do we have a release date yet?

Nope and you won't. They don't do release dates(they used to and to many people raged when it didn't show up on time), in case they hit problems and have to delay. However once youtube videos are released it shouldn't be long. This or next week.
